No one understood what Ferry meant. Ferry looked at his subordinates, shook his head, and explained to them, "Just go make a huge scene with Holley! Try your best to get everyone's attention. The more, the better."
Ferry wanted to humiliate the Hu family. Black had just gotten arrested by the police at the hospital over Holley. But it was all in vain, as here Holley was, drinking at a bar and talking to men.
Ferry wasn't sure how the media was going to report this. Either way, he was sure that Black wouldn't be very happy about it.
Upon hearing this order from their boss, Ferry's men then started to walk towards Holley.
Holley had resorted to alcohol to make herself feel better after going to the hospital. Jason annoyed her, but at the same time, she also wondered what Black was doing.
What she didn't know was that Black had gone to the hospital and fought with Jason. Sitting at the bar, she wondered when she could get rid of Ferry once and for all.
"Holley, you're a shameless bitch! I can't believe you have the guts to cheat on me while I'm on a business trip. The nerve of you to just hang around this bar as if nothing has happened!"
Holley was drowning herself in alcohol. She wished she could die from alcohol poisoning, so that she didn't need to deal with Ferry anymore. She was over it. So when a stranger showed up from nowhere and started to yell at her, she was confused.
She slowly put down her glass. Then she furrowed her brows and said, "What are you talking about? I don't even know you. You've got the wrong person."
Holley thought that she was having some really bad luck lately. In fact, everything in her life seemed to be going wrong these past few weeks. She just wanted to relax and have some drinks, and here she was, being yelled at. Such bad luck!
Holley got more frustrated. She stood up and grabbed her purse, ready to leave, ignoring the men that were surrounding her.
But they didn't let Holley go. One of the men grabbed her arms.
Another man shouted to the crowd, "Does anyone know who this woman is? This is Black's girlfriend. She's Holley!"
"What? She's Holley?"
"I thought she'd broken up with Black and replaced him with a toy-boy?"
"I know. Then who's this man?"
Everyone started to gossip. They were whispering amongst each other.
Holley couldn't help but feel embarrassed. She tried to shake off the man's grip, but she wasn't strong enough. She shrieked, "I don't even know you. Let go of me!" Holley was starting to get angry.
The men seemed to get aroused at the sight of Holley fighting back. One of the men put on a vicious smile and sneered at Holley, "Just because you're dating some rich guy now, you're going to shove me aside as if you don't know me? Holley, I didn't know you were such a gold digger. I divorced my wife and abandoned my child to be with you! Now you're just pretending as if you don't know who I am? What are you doing? Shame on you!"
He looked around and noticed that everyone was staring at him. He raised his voice and continued, "I bet you all know what kind of person Holley is, right? But what you don't know is that she's only staying with Black for his money. I'm her boyfriend, and that still didn't stop her from doing this. She wouldn't listen to me no matter what I told her. When Black dumped her, she came crawling back to me. Why would anyone take a woman like her back?"
Holley was pissed. She didn't know what this stranger was doing. People were gossiping about her and pointing their fingers at her. She wanted to explain and defend herself, but this man wouldn't let her get a word in.
"You don't want to see me?"
Ferry teased Holley. He was glad that his plan had worked, and he had enjoyed watching Holley get humiliated.
"Why would you do this to me? I've already broken up with Black, and there's no way that we're ever getting back together. What's the point of doing this? Do you want to ruin my reputation? If I get into trouble, that doesn't really help you!" Holley snapped at Ferry. Holley had been Ferry's puppet for a long time. She didn't know how much longer she could handle this anymore. She was just tired.
"Are you questioning me?"
Ferry's face shifted. It was a look that scared Holley.
But she had enough of this. She gathered her courage and continued, "I'm not questioning you. I just want to know why." Holley bravely looked into Ferry's eyes, hoping that she could get an answer from him.
Ferry burst into laughter.
Then he pointed his finger at Holley, and said coldly, "Holley, I was drunk, and I just wanted to make fun of you. Is that enough of a reason for you?"
Ferry never treated Holley as a human being. He loved to torture her, just to please himself.
Holley stared at Ferry in anger. She had always known what kind of person Ferry was. But it was only today that she realized how much of a psycho he was. He only treated her as his puppet, and he didn't care about how she felt. She thought Ferry would stop at nothing, even sacrificing her life if he wanted to.
