Soon Holley was forced into a villa by the men dressed in black. She had never been to this place before. Hence, she had no idea as to who it belonged to. Given the current situation, she didn't dare to ask either.
These men were rude and cruel in the way they treated her. They pushed her forward harshly, without showing the slightest mercy. Holley felt like her bones were going to break.
In spite of it, she was compelled to tolerate them.
Soon they arrived at the villa, and these men began to push her into the building. Once she had regained her balance, her eyes scanned her surroundings. Her gaze finally fell on Rex, who was watching her with an amused smile.
'So my suspicion is true. It is indeed Rex who is behind this, ' Holley thought. Deep down, she had already known that Rex was the most probable suspect who would kidnap her. It turned out that her speculation was right.
Since she already knew who the kidnapper was, Holley didn't waste any time during the trip. She was prepared for the upcoming disaster. To deal with Rex, her mind had come up with a stalling tactic. However, she didn't know whether it would work or not.
As soon as Holley saw Rex, she knelt down on the floor and crawled to him on both her arms and legs.
She pulled at his trousers and said, "Uncle Rex, I'm so glad to see you. Next time if you want to see me, just give me a call. I don't want to bother your men. I know why you brought me here. It's all my fault! I'm sincerely sorry. Would you be kind enough to forgive me?" Holley looked at Rex with her pleading eyes.
Rex creased his eyebrows and kicked Holley away. He pointed at her and snapped, "Holley, I know you don't love my son at all. When it is so evident, why do you keep seducing him? What's the point of putting him into trouble?"
"Uncle Rex, you are misunderstanding me. I really love Black, and I have no intention of hurting him..." Holley wept as soon as she heard Rex's accusation.
However, Rex seemed unmoved. Instead, he flared up and spat his words at her, "How dare you say that you love him? If you really love him, you wouldn't dare use him like a piece of waste! So tell me, why did you want to use him to fight against Ferry?"
Rex couldn't bear to see Black in danger. He knew this vicious woman wouldn't care if his son ended up dead.
After hearing Rex's words, Holley shook her head violently. She had indeed thought about using Black, but not to fight against Ferry.
She was well aware of Ferry's bloodthirsty nature. She could never beat him; hence, she had never even dreamed of it. Provoking Ferry would be akin to courting death.
"Uncle Rex, this isn't true. Please, believe me!"
Holley continued to shed tears. Even though she had been prepared before she arrived here, she didn't anticipate that Rex would mention Ferry. Therefore, she was caught off guard. Now she didn't know how to defend herself.
"So are you trying to tell me this isn't true? Then come on, go ahead and tell me the truth! Don't even dream about fooling me. I know you very well! My son may be an idiot, but I'm not one!"
In a fit of anger, Rex pushed Holley to the ground. If she wasn't a girl, he would have beaten her to death.
"No, no! Uncle Rex, I have never used Black. I didn't even tell Ferry that it was Black who messed Jason up. I didn't betray Black..."
The only thing she could do now was deny all the accusations. But she didn't think Rex would believe her.
"Enough! Do you think Ferry is a fool like you? Do you think he has no idea that Black was behind it?" Rex sneered as he looked at Holley.
Holley fell on the floor, dumbfounded. It turned out that Ferry knew everything! 'But why did he let Black go if this was the case? Could it be possible that he spared Black for my sake? No! I don't think so. Perhaps Ferry did it for Rex!' her mind screamed, trying to come up with an explanation.
"The sole reason why my son gets into trouble is you! If I keep you alive, it would only bring more trouble to us. Once you are dead, Black will be safe. And I am pretty sure he will move on someday. That's it! I won't allow you to live anymore!" Rex screamed venomously. It seemed like he had made up his mind to kill her.
Holley's heart plummeted. She grasped Rex's sleeve and begged, "Uncle Rex, it's all my fault! I'm so sorry to have caused trouble for you. Please, forgive me this last time. I promise I won't involve Black in any of this mess. I swear!"
