   She shook her head " It's fine, it's been a long time anyway " 

 " So let me have their contacts and leave everything to me " He said confidently. 

  Carla was happy that finally, her family would have its reputation back and the debts would be settled. A thought came into her head and she gave a shout of excitement. God! She was now rich beyond her imaginations now. She had thought she would pay off her family's debt with the money Liam was going to give her but now that he offered to do that, she could make her mother live a very comfortable life and established her own company. Wow! This was a dream come true! 

   "Whoa! " She couldn't control her excitement as she exclaimed. 

  Liam frowned " Is something the matter? "

" No no no! " She replied quickly and forced herself to calm down " I'm just so happy! " She added, her face glowing with happiness by the minute. 

  Liam felt himself smiling too " Oh it's nothing, just give me their contacts and consider everything settled "

  She brought out her phone and gave him the contacts he requested for. She closed her eyes and breathed a sigh of relief, smiling. She felt a burden had been lifted off her shoulders. Maybe this was not a bad idea after all, she thought. 

  " Anything else? " His voice jolted her back into presence. 

  " Nope, thank you " She said softly and blinked back the tears that had welled up in her eyes. 

  " How about the contract? " She asked. 

  " Easy princess, the lawyer called me a while ago when we were uh... " He coughed discreetly. 

   Carla's cheeks were flushed with embarrassment as she realized what he wanted to say. 

  He continued " So, he called to tell me the contract is ready for our review and signature "

  She nodded " Good, after signing the contract, when do we get married? " She asked casually. 

  " As soon as possible, a week after maybe " He replied, not batting an eye. 

  " What?! " She shrieked. 

  He raised his eyebrows " What is it? "

  " How can I get married in just a week?! What will people think?; This is a rushed marriage and it's hilarious! " She shouted at the top of her lungs. 

   Liam looked at her like she was crazy " Of course we have to get married as soon as possible. That's why we will sign the contract today so we can start making preparations for marriage, we have to start making babies you know " 

  Carla calmed down after hearing that " Oh I forgot the reason I'm getting married, to be your baby factory " She muttered bitterly. 

  " Are you sure you wanna do this? " He asked in a gentle voice. 

  Carla flared up " Of course I am! I wouldn't be here if I don't want to do it, would I? " She twisted her mouth in irritation. 

  Liam's blood began to boil in rage. How dare she blame him?! He had seen the hatred in her eyes, how dare she?! Of course he hadn't forced her to do a thing so why would she blame him for everything?
