The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage) novel Chapter 14

Angel POV.

Pain, dull aching pain is the first thing that makes itself known that as well as the constant beeping. I groan, trying to open my eyes. I peel my eyes open and blink to take in my fuzzy surroundings.

There is a warm light on over me. The rest of the room is in darkness. NO! I’m not back there.

My breathing becomes harsh, and the beeping gets harsher. A hand grabs mine. I look at the face. The words spoken are like I’m underwater.

“Shhh, princess. I’ve got you.” I blink and my vison starts to clear as I take in her features. Her dark hair, her jade green eyes, the features like my own.

“Momma.” My throat is sore and scratchy, my voice raspy as the first tear falls. She bites back a choke as she nods her head. I see the tears glistening in her eyes as she blinks and the tears fall.

“Rebel, where’s Rebel?” I ask, becoming panicked. I need my girl. I need her close to me.

“She is with your father. It’s ok princess, we will find them and make them pay. You didn’t deserve this.” I remove my hand from hers and she looks pained that I won’t allow her to comfort me.

“I want Rebel. I want to go home. I should have never let you all bring me back.” I snap as my throat burns and she sobs at my acidic words. All I feel is pain and rage. This happened to me because of Savage and the damn MC.

“Princess …”

“That’s not my name. Don’t ever call me that again. Please mom. I just want my daughter and I want to leave.” I say as the tears come faster and faster. I can hear them laughing, feeling their thrusts with each sharp inhale of breath. I can smell their cologne, feel their hands on me, their lips. All three of them touching me. I wince as I try to move, but everything hurts.

“Angel, Rebel is safe with your father. When you are released in a few days, you will be back with her. You need to heal. You are black and blue. She will be scared if she sees you like this. Please, stay still. You have broken ribs.” I stop moving as the pain becomes more intense.

She reaches for the button and presses it as a nurse enters the room and I look down at my lap. Knowing what they did to me. I look at my bandaged wrists and I know it happened. I may have shut down, but I know it happened. Sending a message to Savage.

Then I see it the tattoo. That’s how I will find them.

“Here baby, have a drink.” A bottle of water is brought to my lips with a straw and I drink it down. The cool water soothing my dry throat. I lean back as the door bursts open and I jump, screaming as I clutch my ribs.

“Angel, Angel, look at me. I’m so sorry.” I screw my eyes shut tightly as I hear my momma roar at him and he is pulled out of the room. I sob, curling into a ball, ignoring the pain as the assault happens in my head again.

“It’s ok, he’s gone baby, it’s ok.” I’m stuck in that warehouse. I scream and thrash, seeing the three of them and the man who spoke to me. My body jolts with each hit and I kick out pain shoots up my ribs and my fight-or-flights kicks up a notch.

“Sedate her!” I feel hands hold me down. I scream and roar in panic and pain.

“Angel, breathe. It’s all over, it’s all over.” I begin to relax as my head spins.

“Ryder!” my eyes close and I’m out.

When I open my eyes again, it’s morning or maybe afternoon. I’m not sure I look around the room and the disinfectant smell hits me. Ugh!

I’m in a hospital. I look at the side of me and see my momma with her head on the bed and her hand in mine. I look at the sofa under the window and see my brother Nate sleeping. I chuckle seeing his six-foot frame cramped up on a two-seater sofa. His mouth open as his head hangs off the edge.

“Angel,” I look from him to my momma as she moves to sit on the bed.
