The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage) novel Chapter 26

Angel POV.

We have been watching the little town that the Vipers run. We have been waiting for the Princes Of Darkness to make their play. I know I said they would die, but I was angry. Uncle Gianni spoke to me and talked me down. He contacted my momma, and I apologised for what was said at the moment. She did too for the slap, but if I’m being honest, I needed it.

So she agreed with my daddy to let me run this. I ran the plan past them both and the other heads. They agreed to me making the false advertisement to draw the Vipers out. Momma told me that Savage would retaliate by making a statement.

So we have waited and watched. We had cameras set up secretly in the town and we aren’t that far away. When Savage and his men arrived, I watched as they all cased the town trying to gain information. Then I watched as they torched the businesses and the clubhouse. I did smirk at that.

He is doing what he promised, but still, it will be me who takes the Vipers down. When we saw the buildings burning. I knew the Vipers would come. So we headed out just at the exact moment some of the Vipers arrived.

I had the tactical team move, staking the town out from a secure location, and told them to move out. We arrived, and I wasn’t expecting to see one of the men who raped me. It doesn’t matter he met his end as well as the VP did.

Now here we are driving to the Princes Of Darkness’s compound with my prisoners.

“Simon, keep an eye on that video. Did y’all take their phones?” I ask as Simon looks at me with mock hurt.

“How dare you think I would not do that? You wound me Angel.” He says, stabbing an imaginary knife into his chest as he hands me one of the phones. I chuckle and kiss him on the cheek. He has already unlocked the phone and I’m scrolling through everything.

“Well, we have his number. Maybe I should give him a little call?” I say and uncle G chuckles.

“Wait until you get to the compound, then call. Let the members hear this conversation. We can then pinpoint the location and go knock on their door with a welcome basket.” He says as he checks his gun, like this is an everyday occurrence, which I suppose it is. The life of the mafia is all about being ready to instil fear, loyalty, but most importantly, to protect the family.

My phone rings and I answer it.

“Angel, you did well. But please don’t let this destroy you. Don’t let it take over. Deep down, you are still in there. Don’t lose your focus.” I listen to her and I smile slightly. I know who I am. The old Angel is still there. I could have easily killed them all tonight, but I didn’t. I made a point.

I took out the VP and one of the scumbags who raped me. But once this is over, then I can go back to being me. My daughter will be safe and Savage? Well, I don’t know; he has hurt me more than anyone ever has. I just hope this wakes him up, and he becomes the man, the father Rebel needs.

We are approaching the compound as I end the call with my momma as the SUV comes to a stop, with the van with my prisoners behind us. I climb down from the SUV and wait for my men to get the prisoners out of the van.

The members of the MC are all waiting as Savage walks to the side of me. He looks at me and I look at him. He gives me a nod and I look towards Alpha 1 and nod my head at him as he and his men open the sliding van door and they pull out the three prisoners.

The members of the MC all walk forward, anger written on their faces.

“STOP!” Savage says and they all stop in their tracks. Fists clenched at their sides. Savage places his hand on my lower back and the heat of his palm sends a jolt of fire up my spine, making me tingle. But I move away.

“Take them to the cells.” He says and I smile at each of them as they are led past me. Their heads are bowed as they walk to their doom. I go to follow when Savage grabs my arm, stopping me in my tracks.

“We need to talk.” He says and I take a steady breath in and turn my head to look at him, then I look at my arm and he removes his hand.
