The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage) novel Chapter 3

Maverick POV.

It has been six weeks since I was welcomed into the Princes Of Darkness. As a welcome gift for Melody, because she loves being on the back of my bike. The club ladies had her own leathers and helmet custom made.

She even has her own little cut, like all the kids do. It says Property Of The Little Devil’s Of The Princess Of Darkness MC. A way for the kids to feel like they are important and do belong to a wider family.

Then one day we left the house to get her to school and saw a new truck parked in the driveway with a massive red bow attached to the hood with a card under the windshield wiper.

I chuckle as I remember what it said. Welcome to POD. I thought you and Melody would like this truck for when the weather changes. Drive carefully.

I smile, knowing who it was that had the cage bought here. Harmony. There was even a booster seat in the front passenger for Melody. It’s a nice truck. All shiny and black and I know it is armoured. There were even a few toys and bags of clothes for Melody in the covered flatbed.

I haven’t seen Harmony since that day at the clubhouse. I know she has been busy with her shop and now getting her bar up and running. But we will see her soon.

“Melly baby, time to get up. You little lady have school.” I say as I gently wake up my little sleepy head. Melody is not a morning person. She likes to stay in bed for as long as possible. But once she is up and moving, she is like a tornado, no stopping her.

“Ok daddy.” She says, rubbing her eyes as she sits up in her little princess bed. The club has helped massively with getting the house ready for us. Everything in here, all the furniture and homey touches I paid for, and the club helped assemble them. I’m still getting used to being back in club life.

The club is like a pack, a family. We all help each other and, just like any family, they argue and fight, but it’s soon forgotten about.

I never had a great family dynamic growing up, hence why I joined a club when I was sixteen and then after five years I decided I would go nomad. I’m seven years older than Harmony.

Harmony, god she makes me a stuttering and nervous wreck. Not just because of who she is but because she is so kind, beautiful and has it all. Looks, personality, a good moral compass. Plus, she doesn’t seem scared of me. Which in itself is refreshing.

She is the opposite of her famous momma and nanna and, of course, her pop-pop. Angel, I met a few years ago. She is a lovely woman, but one look from her has the biggest man quaking in his boots. Then there is Savage. He is the silent protector, not that his family ever needs it.

Melody is finally up and out of bed. I follow her into the bathroom after I hear the toilet flush to find her brushing her teeth. I smile at her.

“Don’t forget to wash your hands and face, little lady. What are you wearing today?” This is always the worst time of the day. Deciding what she will wear. Melody stops mid brush and looks at me through the mirror, her silver grey eyes looking right at me. Even the little frown on her face makes me chuckle.

“Jeams, sweeter, and butts.” She says with her toothbrush still in her mouth. I nod my head at her and tip my imaginary hat at her. Thank god I knew what she meant. I chuckle to myself. This is my life and I wouldn’t change it all.

“Yes, ma’am.” I say as I turn and grab her clothes and she bounds into the bedroom, wiping her face on the towel. She quickly strips out her pyjamas and I help her get dressed.

“Look at your hair, missus. What happened?” I say, chuckling. She won’t let me cut it. It’s fine, and it’s a good thing I know how to do long hair.
