The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage) novel Chapter 6

Angel POV.

The nerve of him. Who the hell does he think he is telling me I have to go with him? Ha, he is a fucking joker and is delusional if he thinks I’m packing our life up here to follow him like a damn puppy. Not happening.

I sit in the kitchen with the light on from under the cabinets as the only source of light. I can’t sleep so here I am sitting drinking a milky drink to try to help me sleep. There is a knock on the door. I look at my phone and see it’s ten at night. I switch the camera on, but I can’t see anything.

I shuffle off the barstool and grab my mug. Boomer is alert, but I hold my finger to my lips and he lays his head back down. I move to the door and open it.

“Savage, it’s ten at fucking …”

“Hello sweetheart.” My mouth drops open as the mug slips from my fingers. Tears burn my eyes as I look at her.

“Momma.” I throw myself into her arms and sob as she soothes me. Her hand running up and down my back.

“Yes, sweetheart. I’m here. Shush now, it’s going to be ok.” I cry like a baby, my body wracked with heartbreaking sobs. A cough draws my attention and I look up and stare into the honey eyes like my own.

“Daddy.” My momma lets me go and I lunge for him and he catches me and I hug him like he will disappear. I have always been a daddy’s girl.

“Can we come in?” He mutters as he kisses the side of my face, and I straighten myself out and nod my head. I run to the kitchen to grab the dustpan and brush to clean up the mess from the porch. I quickly clean the mess and usher them inside.

Boomer looks up and stands wanting to meet the newcomers. My momma gasps seeing him and begins her baby talk, and he eats it up. He may be terrifying to look at it but he is a big softy.

“Momma, daddy. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. I was scared. I didn’t want you both to be disappointed in me.” I sob when arms engulf me and I cry even harder, feeling the weight lift.

“No, none of that, princess. We would never be disappointed in you. You had us scared. We thought something bad had happened. Its us who failed you. You should have been able to come to us and you felt like you couldn’t. That is on us. Now wipe those tears. You are stronger than this.” My dad tells me and I nod my head, sniffling as I take a few breaths to calm myself down. He takes my hand in his and we all sit on the sofa.

“Let me guess Savage called you here?” I ask and they both smirk at me, nodding their heads.

“Yeah, apparently you are being stubborn and playing hardball.” My momma scoffs like she doesn’t know I am. I chuckle at her.

“He can think what he wants. I won’t uproot the life I have here. Not for him or anyone. This is our home and has been since I came here. He is delusional if he thinks we are going with him.” I say bitterly and my daddy chuckles, shaking his head.

“He has claimed you and your child. The laws of the MC are similar to ours. Once a claim has been made, it must be honoured. So you will be moving back. But you won’t be alone, you are never alone, princess. You had us all so worried. You have grown more beautiful. Being a mother suits you.” My momma says when a crackle comes through the baby monitor.

“Mommy.” I look at them both.

“You want to meet your granddaughter?” I say and they both smile and nod their heads. I stand and walk up the stairs towards her room and she is standing by the gate.

“Hey baby. You thirsty?” I ask her, cooing as she rubs her eyes, nodding her bedhead. I pick her up and carry her down the stairs.
