The Billionaire Alpha’s Contract Lover by Caesar Erickson novel Chapter 730

Chapter 730
Taya snorted coldly, “Neil, you clearly knew that Amon took me away, why didn’t you come to save me?”
Neil wiped the ashes from his face, and said carelessly, “I can’t beat him. If I go, I’ll be the feeder!”
Not to mention, the Alpha of the Knight pack would certainly
not sit idly by, and wouldn’t it be nice to leave the task of
saving the beauty to the big Alpha?
Taya was left speechless, “Well, at least you have
self-awareness.”
Neil raised his smile strangely, jerking the corners of his stiff mouth, “Having self-awareness is a basic tenet of my life!”
As soon as he finished speaking, a group of workers suddenly appeared on the other side, pointing in his direction and shouting loudly!
“That’s him! He colluded with the contractor and owes us our
wages!”
“Guys, raise your shovels and follow me, let’s teach him a
lesson!”

Immediately afterwards, Taya heard the sound of Neil running fast from the other end of the phone.
“I’ve been beaten by these workers countless times in the last
six months, to help you survey the construction site!”
“Remember, when I get back, you must build me a golden body according to my golden proportions!!!”
The next sound she heard was the sound of the call being cut
off, followed by a series of beeps. She had no idea whether
at that moment, Neil was still being pinned to the ground and beaten, or whether he had managed to escape.
She held her phone and thought for a while, then sent him a message: [How many construction sites do you still have to
survey?”
She thought that Neil would not reply, but she was surprised to receive a message from him the next second: “There’s one last site, that project, I guess you’ll have to go and survey it
yourself.”
Taya asked for the reason, but Neil only sent over a garbled
message.
Now Taya was convinced that he had been caught by those
workers.
Mimicking his tone, she replied, “My deepest condolences.”
She then read through the previous chat records, and was impressed to learn that Neil had travelled to different construction sites in eight countries in a month.
In order for her to earn one billion for the redevelopment of the Knight pack headquarters wholeheartedly, Neil changed his old lazy ways, and became a hardworking and motivated
sunny wolf.
Neil was very meticulous in his work. He had created a PPT for each project, which included project introduction, site pictures, videos, measurement data, the style required by the project owner, and all of these were listed in detail.
All Taya had to do was to sketch from the PPT, and for the rest, Neil and Sumasa Construction Co., LTD would arrange for her.
She thought for a moment and made a schedule for these projects based on their importance and urgency. After allocating them, she decided to start by designing the mating
house.
She had to complete it before the mating ceremony, so she could arrange the renovation in advance.
Taya decided to postpone her French lessons until after her
mating ceremony, as she was under a tight deadline for completing her design work.
After she had a specific plan in her mind for the next tasks,
she sent a message to George asking about Grace’s situation.
George quickly replied with a voice message, and Taya
listened to it, she surprisingly heard Grace’s voice.
“Auntie, we have returned to Aronland. Strange Uncle is so
annoying, he wants to send me back to my dad’s house. Although I also miss my dad, I can’t bear to leave Strange Uncle. Auntie, please help me think of a way. How can I keep staying here?”
A warm current flowed through Taya’s heart at the sound of the soft voice message, making her feel warm inside.
She held the phone, pressed the voice button and answered softly: “Grace, my suggestion is, listen to Strange Uncle, go back to your dad’s house, be a good girl and go to school, do you think that’s okay?”
Grace sent another voice message to Taya: “No, no, I don’t want to go to school or leave Strange Uncle. Auntie, you’re a bad person. I’m not going to talk to you!”
