Gregory looked grim as he watched Julian’s people come to the house and take back all the items Dominick had previously 

He didn’t care much about the expensive supplements. But he truly felt heartbroken about the antique paintings and calligraphy Those were treasures he never even dared to dream about. 

He hadn’t had them for long yet, and they were already taken back. But the problem was, he couldn’t say anything, nor could he stop it. This was something Dominick had given to the Sullivan family for free, so naturally, he could take it back. 

It wasn’t until everything had been moved out that Gregory finally mustered up the courage to approach the leader of the group and cautiously asked. “Excuse me, why did Dominick decide to take these things back?” 

He remembered that when they hosted Dominick, he had personally said that he and Christina had received these gifts because they were Paisley’s parents. 

Although some bad things had happened that day, Dominick hadn’t taken the gifts back afterward. 

Gregory had once thought that maybe Dominick had forgotten about it or just didn’t care. After all, he was the president of such a large corporation. How could he possibly take back gifts he had given? 

But since Dominick stopped caring for them, the Sullivan family’s business had been getting worse by the day. It seemed like all their partners had somehow gotten the word and were all starting to break their contracts.

Of the few remaining partners, the most powerful one was the Levine family. Originally, Gregory had thought about picking out a couple of the gifts Dominick gave him and sending them to the Levine family. 

This would help curry favor with the Levine family and maintain their business relationship. But the reality was cruel. Dominick had sent people to take back those gifts.
