“What a pain!” The bodyguard escorting her out seemed a bit annoyed. 

Yet seeing her apparently in real pain, he softened a bit. 

Allison was really good–looking. Her eyes were covered with a black veil, making them invisible. But the aura she emanated was enough to convince anyone of her beauty 

Her voice turned gentle, a bit coquettish, “I’m just popping to the loo, I’ll be super quick. You can wait by the door, I promise I won’t try anything” 

The bodyguard thought it over and found her point valid. 

Allison knew how to play her cards. Her deliberately coquettish tone cased his guard, and he escorted her to the restroom door, “The restroom is right in there. Go in and come out as soon as possible”

Allison went into the restroom, took off her veil and scanned the surroundings. There were no windows in the restroom, only ventilation ducts. She took a black pen from her pocket, made a mark on the restroom wall, and was about to leave when she heard a noise from one of the cubicles. 

Allison paused. 

She walked towards the cubicle where the sound was coming from.. 

She knocked at the door lightly. 

“Do you need help?” 

A weak voice came from inside the cubicle. 

Allison frowned, didn’t respond, and decided to open the door directly. 

Inside was a little boy. 

He was dressed in the hospital gown that read Mercy Grove Hospital. 

Her pupils contracted.

“What’s wrong?” she bent down to look at him. 

He looked really down, “Do you believe me?” 

Allison knew the boy had a mental disorder, but seeing his pitiful state, she couldn’t help but feel sympathetic 

She smiled and said, “I believe you. Do you have something to tell me?” 

“My mom steals stuff. She had a baby for someone else, and she visits that baby every week, but when I told my dad and mom, they said I was lying. nobody believes me.” He looked really down and then suddenly pointed at Allison and started laughing. “There’s a beautiful moon behind you.” 

Allison didn’t expect him to say that. 

His mom had a baby for someone else?

Allison couldn’t stay any longer, Leah’s bodyguard was waiting at the door. She said to him, “There’s also a beautiful moon behind you, Heath.”

“You can see my moon top? 

“I can, it’s a big round moon.”
