Allison was taken aback. 

Her pupils shimmered under the glow of the flames. 

“Lucian, my name is Allison” 

Lucian seemed a bit lost “Allison” 

“Yes, Allison.” 

Lucian muttered something inaudible. He was really sick, his mind fuzzy 

Seeing him weakly move his lips, Allison leaned in. 

“What did you say?” 

“Allison, where are you?” 

Allisons expression slightly changed. 

Looking at the unconscious and sickly Lucian, she realized he still remembered her name. 

“I’m here she whispered, knowing he wouldn’t hear her. 

Outside the cave, the rain started to fall 

She didn’t want to think about what could’ve happened without this cave. Allison was anxious. She used all the medicine she had. However, Lucian’s condition had not improved due to snake venom, and she was in a coma. 

She checked her phone no signal. They were deep in the forest. 

What were she and Lucian to do? When would help arrive? 

Jason and the others returned to the hotel. 

They immediately asked, “Has Allison returned?” 

The staff shook their head. “I haven’t seen Ms Zimmer” 

Jason was taken aback by the sound of thunder outside and heavy rain, and they had no idea about the situation in the forest. He dialled Carl’s number. “Allison hasn’t returned, Carl, you need to find her and Lucian!!” 

Carl was equally frantic. 

Penelope, standing nearby, heard the conversation and went pale. “What are we going to do? Lucian’s still in there!! What if something happens?!” She shouted, “We haven’t found Lucian yet, what the hell are you guys doing? The forest is dangerous; if something happens to Lucian, Carl, can you take the responsibility?!” 

Carl wiped the sweat off his face. Of course, he couldn’t take responsibility. 

Right now, his legs were shaking. He knew how dangerous the forest was. 

He had cleared the obstacles in the forest months in advance so these rich youngsters could come here for an adventure. But he and a professional exploration team had only gone deep into the forest once. There were venomous snakes and poisonous plants, and many fierce animals. 

Especially deep in the forest after rain. 

What he was most worried about now was that Allison and Mr Lindberg might have reached the depths of the forest, or else there would be a signal on 

their phones.
