In the hospital room, Penelope’s eyes welled up with tears as she watched Lucian awaken, whispering, “Lucian”

He vaguely saw a woman in front of him He thought he was still in the forest, still in that cave. 

“Allison”

Lucian ordered Shawn, who was outside the door, “Shawn, take Penelope home.” He looked at Penelope, “You’re tired too. It would be best if you rested well. You’re taking care of yourself and the child in your belly.” 

Hearing Lucian say this, Penelope nodded. 

“Alright, the baby and I will see you later.” She patted her belly, which was her most powerful bargaining chip. 

Penelope and Shawn arrived in the hallway. When they passed Allison’s room, Penelope stopped. She glanced at Shawn, “Shawn, I want to check on 

Allison. Wait for me here.” 

Shawn was just an assistant and had no right to stop Penelope, so he nodded in agreement.
