Upon hearing the child’s unstable condition, Miranda immediately frowned and asked, “Doc, how’s she doing?” 

The doctor shook his head, “If it weren’t for Ms. Flanagan’s good health, she might have miscarried from the fall. Fortunately, we were able to treat her in time, and the baby is safe for now.” 

Miranda’s face turned pale upon hearing the severity of the situation. 

Tears welled up in Penelope’s eyes as she choked out, “Doctor, you must save my child.” 

Margo comforted Penelope, ‘Ms. Flanagan, you’re such a good person, your child won’t die.” 

Seeing the look in Penelope’s eyes, she continued, “It’s all Allison’s fault. How could you have ended up like this if it weren’t for her?” 

Miranda, furrowing her brows, asked, “Allison? What does this have to do with Allison?” 

Margo cried out in a wronged tone, “Miranda, you must stand up for Ms. Flanagan.” 

Penelope immediately stopped Margo, “Margo, no.” 

“Ms. Flanagan, you’re just too kind, still protecting someone like Allison at this time.” 

Penelope, looking troubled, said, “Margo, I promised Lucian, stop saying.” 

Margo gritted her teeth, “Ms. Flanagan, I can’t stand seeing you wronged” 

Miranda was somewhat confused, “What’s going on? What does this have to do with Allison?” 

Penelope burst into tears. 

Sitting by the bed, Miranda grabbed Penelope’s hand, “Penelope, tell me, what happened?” 

“Miranda, since Ms. Flanagan won’t say it, I will. I can’t stand seeing Ms. Flanagan being wronged, but I still hope you can keep it a secret for her. After all, I don’t want to see any discord between Ms. Flanagan and Mr. Lindberg.” 

Miranda was even more confused, “How did this suddenly involve my son? Margo, go ahead.” 

“Ms. Flanagan was pushed by Allison, and she hurt the child. The doctors worked for several hours in the emergency room to stabilize the situation. But Ms. Flanagan promised Mr. Lindberg that she wouldn’t tell anyone about it.” 

“Allison?” Miranda envisioned Allison’s gentle and beautiful figure. No matter how she looked at it, Allison didn’t seem like the person Margo described.
