“Leo took her up on her offer to go see a movie and they even hit the library together.” 

Allison clutched Sadie’s hand. “I’m gonna give Leo a piece of my mind.” 

Sadie looked lost and nervous.

Allison whipped out her cell and dialed Leo. She knitted her brows. “Where you at?” 

Originally, the script had Olivia calling Leo, to get some answers for Megan. 

There was silence on the other end of the phone. Allison went along with the script. 

However, Sadie snatched the phone from her. “Leo, did you really go see a movie with Yara? And you two hit the library at night? You weren’t like this before, Leo.” 

Behind the CCTV, Conrad frowned. 

Originally, Megan was outgoing, beautiful, and cheerful. She didn’t want to come between her and Yara’s friendship, so she was saddened to know about Leo and Yara, but she always kept it to herself. But now, Sadie had changed the script and lines, and she put herself in a bad light. 

Conrad frowned, he couldn’t stand it anymore. “Cut-” 

Sadie looked at Conrad. “Mr. Conrad.” 

Conrad said, “Sadie, who told you to change the script? Better stick to the original, you know Ms. Cathy doesn’t like it when you change the lines, and…” 

And Sadie’s behavior didn’t match the character at all. 

Filming was temporarily halted. Sadie’s sweet talk didn’t work on Conrad, so she had to stick to the original script. Filming resumed, but Sadie forgot her lines. 

“Olivia, what do I do? I don’t want to put them in a tough spot. But when I close my eyes…” She paused for two seconds, Sadie still 

couldn’t remember her lines. 

Allison softly picked up the second half. “But when I close my eyes, I think about the times when Yara and I played in the park as kids. I fell into the artificial lake, and Yara struggled to save me. She almost got swept in herself. I can’t believe, can’t believe she would go and -see Leo behind my back. She could’ve told me, and if I knew she liked Leo too, I could’ve backed off, but now, Leo and I are already a 

couple, and we even planned to go to college together.” 

Sadie gritted her teeth. “Sorry, I forgot my lines.” 

Emma quickly brought over the script, and Sadie hastily memorized it. 

Conrad was a bit surprised. He stared at Allison’s delicate side profile, her voice softly delivering the lines, at that moment, and Conrad thought that the lead role would be more suitable for Allison. He never thought a young non-professional artist could deliver lines so. well.
