Chapter 430
“Yara, we’ve known each other for a long time, inside out. So, did you really go to the movies with Leo? Are you into him? Yara, we’re friends. Come on, just spill it. Do you have a thing for him? I wanna hear the real deal.”
On set.
Allison was standing next to Sadie, and she was holding Allison’s prop phone pretending to be making a call to Yara.
No doubt, the call wasn’t actually going through. But as actors, they needed to make it look as real as pie.
The plot had Megan inviting Olivia for a walk in the park.
Megan brought up Yara, and Olivia, wanting to clear the air between them, took the initiative to call Yara and handed the phone over to Megan. Megan was now on the line with Yara.
The breeze was whispering by. There were quite a few tourists around taking photos. They weren’t exactly up close, but with the zoom on their phones, they could still see the expressions on the actors’ faces.
“Who’s this crew? I don’t recognize these actors.” The speaker was a middle-aged lady, who clearly wasn’t in the loop with the newbies in showbiz.
Indeed, Allison and Sadie weren’t exactly household names as they were both fresh in the industry, and the young spectators didn’t recognize them either.
A young girl who was always scrolling through Twitter said, “I guess that one’s Sadie. I heard she’s new-I’ve seen her on Twitter trends.” She’s really pretty.”
“Is the lead actress the one in the light blue jeans on the left? That girl has got some pretty good figure.”
That was Allison.
The young girl shook her head, saying, “No, I think the lead is the one in the pink dress on the right.”
“That one? She looks too much like an influencer, not cut out for teen dramas. I thought the one on the left was the lead.”
One girl said, “I’m not sure either, but bumping into a film crew is quite a coincidence. They may not be big stars, but this is still fun. I wonder if we can get autographs, the actress on the left is really pretty.”
“Hey, did the one on the right forget her lines? She hasn’t said anything for quite a while.”
“Seems like it.”
On set.
Director Conrad’s face was turning sour, and he shouted, “Cut!”
He stood up, saying, “Let’s call it a day on this scene. Sadie, why don’t you go brush up on your lines.”
