The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 181

Only half an hour left before dinner time.

Allison grabbed her sunglasses and followed Lucian into the living room.

Aidan and Jason Brummett also walked in after them. Kamilla excitedly shouted, “Aidan!”

Aidan was kind of avoiding Kamilla. He knew she had feelings for him, but he didn't feel the same way about her.

He just responded indifferently, “Kamilla.”

“Aidan, have you been really busy these days? I went to your company to find you a few times, and they always told me you're not there.”

That was precisely what Aidan had instructed them to say if Kamilla came looking for him.

Allison's phone started to vibrate.

Seeing the caller ID showed Penelope, she picked up the phone and walked to the balcony, “Hello?”

On the other end of the phone, as Allison expected, Penelope was swearing like a fishwife. Allison had already moved the phone away from her ear; she only lightly laughed after Penelope finished her rant.

“Penelope, do you think the people around me heard you cursing just now because you were so loud?”

Penelope seemed to be stunned and a bit scared.

“What did you say, you bitch, Allison! I'm at the villa behind the orchard; come here now! I'll show you!”

It still wasn't dinner time, and the Lindberg family's servants were all busy.

Allison found an excuse to go for a walk in the garden and left the dining room. The maid Laura wanted to accompany her but was rejected by Allison.

Allison casually asked, “How did you find out? Oh, Pete told you, right? Penelope, you and Pete seem to be close. Does Lucian know?”

Penelope hesitated, suddenly looking guilty.

“What nonsense are you talking about? Who's Pete? I'm telling you again! Don't mention these irrelevant things! You pretending to be me to secretly meet Lucian; I won't let you off, don't forget your mother is still in the hospital; her life is in my hands!”

As soon as her mother was mentioned, Allison's face turned cold.

She tightly grabbed Penelope's wrist, and Penelope frowned due to the pain, “Ah, let go! Allison!!”

“Penelope, I'm telling you, if anything unfortunate happens to my mother, I promise, the entire Lindberg family and all the media in Northfield will know the truth about how I lost a child, and how you pretended to be me to establish a relationship with Lucian!”

Her bottom line was Grace.
