The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 182

But she'd done everything, absolutely everything Leah and Penelope asked her to. She never intended to spill the beans, but Leah went behind her back and switched her mom's meds, resulting in her mom being in a coma now.

So why was she still putting up with their threats?

Penelope had never seen such a cold look in Allison's eyes, and it kind of freaked her out.

"What are you talking about? Your mom is fine! Allison, you promised me you couldn’t let it slip. We paid for your mom's kidney transplant, and you should remember that!"

There was a hint of mockery in Allison's eyes. "Of course, I remember. I was with the Flanagan family for 8 years, and I remember every bit of kindness from Ms. Flanagan and Mrs. Flanagan."

Penelope watched Allison laughing, but she felt uneasy inside, scared that the secret might get out.

Allison used to be easy to control. She would do whatever they asked as long as Grace was in their hands. But things seemed to have changed now.

Allison's attitude had taken a sudden shift.

"Allison, you promised us to keep this a secret. You've been with the Flanagan family for so many years; we naturally treat you well." Penelope wasn't a fool. Even though she bullied Allison, she didn't dare to scold her now. She decided to hold her tongue for now. "Allison, let's get changed quickly. I know you probably didn't mean to be here."

Allison watched Penelope's attitude and chuckled softly.

"Really?" Allison raised an eyebrow, "Anytime?"

"Of course." Penelope saw Allison seemed to loosen up and quickly said, "We need to change clothes quickly; it’s getting late. After changing, I'll have Pete take you out of here."

Allison didn't want to attend the Lindberg family's dinner. She was mistaken for Penelope by some reporters on the ferry. At this moment, she took off her coat and handed it to Penelope. They swapped clothes. Penelope mimicked Allison's makeup, toned it down a bit, and added some eye drops to make their eyes look identical.

Allison wiped off her makeup, tidied her hair, and quickly straightened it with a flat iron, and they left the villa, one after the other.
