The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 207

Allison froze for a moment, looking at the card in her hand—a heart.

She rubbed her temples gently.

Nathalie came over with a bottle of booze and placed it on the table, looking quite cheerful. Turning to Allison, she said, "Your turn, babe. You gonna drink or play Truth or Dare?"

Without any hesitation, Allison responded, "Drink."

Nathalie instantly poured a glass and handed it to Allison. Allison took it, tilted her head back, and downed it in one go. After finishing, she stuck out her tongue.

The next round began. After revealing the cards, Nathalie, smiling, said, "Allison, it’s your turn again."

Everyone around smiled expectantly, except for Lucian, who frowned.

Allison slightly furrowed her brows. The drink she just had was making her a bit dizzy.

She looked at her card. Normally, she wouldn't even have this kind of luck when buying lottery tickets.

Nathalie crossed her arms and started, "So, are you going to drink, or—"

Before she could finish, a gentle voice cut her off: "Drink."

"Alright." Nathalie smiled, pouring a glass and handing it over, which spilled a bit since it was too full.

Jason stopped her, taking the glass and looking at the full glass of alcohol. "I'll drink it for her."

"That's not how it works. It's a game. If she can't drink, she should play Truth or Dare. No one's forcing her to drink. She chose it herself."

"Yeah, Jason. When Lily lost, I didn't see you drinking for her."

Lily, who had a crush on Jason, glanced at the woman who just spoke and clenched her fists. She looked at Jason and then at Allison, who was just a maid dressed plainly. Jason was even willing to take a drink for her. It felt like a stab in the heart.

Allison looked around at the people, most of whom were Penelope's friends, and some were just there for the spectacle. Knowing that Nathalie wouldn't let it go if she didn't drink, she took the glass from Jason and downed it.

Drinking too fast, she coughed a few times.

"Allison, are you alright?" Jason looked worried.

Allison's cheeks were flushed. "I'm fine."

Nathalie continued dealing cards. A young man got the card this time. He chose a dare, took off his shirt, and hugged a male waiter, causing everyone to burst into laughter.

Allison looked at the drink in front of her and slowly reached out. But before her fingers could touch the glass, someone grabbed her hand. She tried to pull it back but failed. She looked at Jason.

"Jason, I've said it before; you can't drink for her."

"Stop drinking."

"It's okay; I can handle one more."

It's just a glass of booze. She wouldn't collapse from that.

"Allison, you've already had two. This stuff is strong; you'll have a hangover tomorrow."

A hangover? Allison felt a bit dizzy already.

She lifted her hand to rub her temples.

"Since you can't drink, just choose Truth." Nathalie seemed impatient. Before she could ask a question, a sharp female voice rang out.

"Allison, I heard that you've had an abortion. Is that true?"
