Shane, a rookie cop with a sharp mind and a keen sense for justice, was about to dive headfirst into the toughest case of his budding career. Paired with Irene, a seasoned detective known for cracking even the trickiest cases, they aimed to unravel a decade-old wrongful conviction that had haunted the precinct for years.
Meanwhile, in the glitzy world of showbiz, a script by the renowned Wade had become the talk of the town. It wasn’t surprising that every actor worth their salt was clamoring for a role in what promised to be the next big hit.
In the midst of this frenzy, Allison was fiercely determined to make her mark. She knew opportunities like this were rare and she had to grab it with both hands.
Lost in her thoughts, she was startled by the sound of approaching footsteps, a door opening, and a chair being pulled back. Wade’s voice cut through the ambient noise, “You’ve arrived.”
“Sorry I’m late,” came a voice, tinged with mild frustration. “Left two hours early, but the torrential rain caused one hell of a traffic jam.”
“No worries, the downpours in Woodbridge are notorious. Safety first on those roads,” Wade replied with a nod of understanding.
Allison’s attention was suddenly captured by a familiar male voice. She looked up to see Aaron strolling towards her. Dressed in a silver-grey tracksuit that highlighted his athletic build, he moved with an effortless charm. He sat down beside her, sending a ripple of surprise through her.
“Aaron?” she exclaimed, her eyes widening slightly.
Aaron offered a warm smile. “Hey, Allison.”
“What a coincidence,” Allison said, amusement tinging her voice as she reached out and gently clasped his fingers.
As Aaron settled into his seat, he murmured, just loud enough for her to catch, “Not a coincidence.”
With a serene smile and a soft voice, Allison added, “Aaron and I have crossed paths a few times before.”
Aaron nodded. “You could say she’s my junior by association. Allison’s got talent.”
Aaron’s mentor, the triple-crown winner and respected actress Jennifer, was also a close colleague of the first female director of note. Hearing Aaron’s endorsement, Wade’s regard for Allison grew.
Perhaps this newcomer could bring a fresh perspective to the filming process.
For the next two hours, Wade delved into the main plot and character analysis of the movie. Allison, ever diligent, took meticulous notes. She believed that while the mind could retain information on the surface, nothing was as reliable as the written word. As a newcomer eager to absorb every piece of wisdom from the acclaimed director, she was determined to commit everything to memory and review it all once back at her hotel.
