The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 730

"Daisy, you should head back and get some rest. I've got you covered these past couple of days, and Frances is in good hands with the doctors. Right now, you need to take care of yourself. Look at you, you can barely stand."

Daisy nodded, too exhausted to protest anymore.

Allison drove her home.

---

The Boswell estate.

It was Allison's first time meeting Mina.

This woman had an undeniable presence, unlike Miranda's. It was the kind of aura that comes from years at the top, similar to what Allison felt the first time she met Lucian.

Lucian had mentioned Mina before, describing her as a formidable businesswoman.

Mina seemed to recognize Allison immediately. She kept up with online chatter and the latest gossip, especially since the Boswells had business dealings with the Lindberg Corporation. She knew that Lucian, the heir to the Lindberg fortune, had a fiancée.

And that he also had a mistress.

The woman standing right before her.

Mina was slightly taken aback to find that Daisy and this woman were friends.

"How's Frances doing?" Mina asked, without a hint of fake concern. It was more like she was ticking off an agenda item at an early morning meeting.

Daisy's grip tightened. She knew Mina wouldn't mind if Frances never woke up.

Taking a deep breath, her voice rough, Daisy replied, "No change."

"Oh? And Wilton?"

"He's at the hospital with Frances."

Mina nodded, "Alright then. You go rest. You look terrible. This is your friend, right? Her first time at the Boswell estate? Feel free to visit more often."

"I find Allison far more intriguing than Penelope," Mina continued.

She had met Penelope at a high-society dinner once.

Penelope was beautiful, but Mina thought Allison was far more interesting.

"Tell the kitchen to prepare lunch. We're going to the hospital to see Frances and Wilton." Mina inspected the shears, murmuring, "They're too dull. Sharp tools are more useful."

"If they're not to your liking, I can sharpen them for you," Ava offered.

"The wind's picking up. I'll take care of it myself," Mina replied.

"Do you need me to keep an eye on the upstairs?"

Mina shook her head, "It's just Daisy and her friend. They won't cause any trouble. Have you kept a close watch on the hospital?"

"Always. It's all our people." Even among the staff Wilton brought, Mina had her own eyes and ears.
