or some reason, The internet narrative started to change when talk of Emma came up. Almost as though someone was white washing the Smith family or trying to take Emma down. 

“I don’t believe everything she is saying, I heard that this Emma, when she was Mrs Smith, she forcefully had all of her husband’s mistress abort all their pregnancies. Everyone knew that Mr Smith was afraid of her.” Someone commented. 

“What does that have to so with anything?” 

“True? Should you let mistresses walk around?” 

“Why are you all bring up unrelated topics?” 

“What the person says makes sense. If she is that powerful at home, you expect me to believe that he abused her and her mother–in–law managed to touch her son in her home?” 

“True, I don’t believe it,”

“What is the use of all these lies? Didn’t she just run away because the Smith family are under suspicion for Human trafficking?“” 

“She just wanted to remove herself from the situation,”

“True, none of you were there. Besides, hasn’t she accused the Smith family? I am sure they should have a reply,” 

“What Smith family? The ones that can barely save themselves from Human trafficking allegations? Do they have time to be answering such accusations?” 

“As far as I am concerned, they all the same kinds of people, these rich families,” 

As they watched the chaos unfold online, Anya and Daniel knew that their lives would never be the same. “They don’t believe me. They talk as though they had been there. So full of knowledge.” Anya said. 

“They are only smug for now, because they do not see the evidence, but do you think that Richard would let people insult Emma this long?” He asked and she nodded in agreement. 

“True he does not see like the type. I hear he has been going over there for a while now. It is only a matter of time before he sees this,” Anya said. 

“And he had probably complied enough evidence to drown them. It is his way. His words made Anya pause slightly. 

“Why does it feel like you know Richard well?” she asked and he paused slightly, before. smiling and getting in bed with her. 

“It is not that I know him, it is that I know what I would do if I were in his shoes. Besides, I have looked into him. He is a good lawyer. A person like him will have a lot of evidence piled up.” he answered. 

“It’s good that she is not alone over there. I feel more confident when you say it that way,‘ she whispered. 

With a sense of resolve, Daniel wrapped his arms around Anya, pulling her close. “Don’t worry. No one will get to her, just like no one will get to you. I promise,” he said, kissing the top of her head. 

Anya leaned into Daniel’s embrace, finding comfort in his reassuring presence. “Thank you, Daniel. I don’t know what I’d do without you.‘ 

In Emma’s apartment living room, Richard sat with his laptop open, his eyes fixed on the screen as he scrolled through the barrage of hateful comments directed towards Emma. Each word felt like a dagger, cutting through the air with cruel precision. 

Richard’s expression hardened as he read comment after comment, each one more vicious than the last. With a determined glint in his eye, he opened his personal account and began typing out a statement of his own. 

“This is Miss Emma Jones’s lawyer. 

Miss Jones is by no means obligated to treat the family who abused her and her son well. Mr. Charles Smith impregnated a few women over the course of his marriage and had his secretaries pretend to be Miss Jones’s staff to force women into an abortion. threatened Mrs Smith several times, this is true. The person who posted this information. claiming to be a staff at the Smith mansion is in fact Mrs Smith, using her alternate account. To her words of threats, my client wants her to know that her words still stand since Mrs. Smith is so forgetful.
