The CEO Gets What He Wants novel Chapter 264

Meanwhile, Nina followed Dylan and the woman in his arms into the hotel and watched the two get into the elevator.

Luxurious hotels were meticulous about their client's privacy. In order to obtain evidence of Dylan cheating on Avery, Nina had to pretend to be a customer of the hotel and spend some money to get a room next to Dylan and the woman.

The moment Nina swept her room card and got into the elevator, a man who reeked of alcohol and was unable to walk properly entered the elevator as well.

The drunkard was a giant man, whose face could not be clearly seen under the black cap he was wearing.

He seemed to be heavily intoxicated. He fell in Nina's direction feebly, causing her to become irate and kick him away.

Ding!

Arriving at her floor, Nina darted out of the elevator. To her horror, the drunkard suddenly grabbed the corner of her clothes and stopped her from leaving. He even called her a pretty little thing indecently and tried to grope her breasts with his hands.

The drunkard's actions pissed Nina off. Fuelled by her anger, she grabbed the drunkard's arm and threw him at the wall near the elevator.

With a loud thud, the man dropped to the floor, and his black cap fell off his head, revealing his handsome yet devilish and wicked face.

“Why does this face look so familiar to me?” Nina stared at the somewhat familiar face.

She got down to get near him and observed his chiseled features closely.

Immediately, she recognized him.

He was Aaron Gibson, Nina's nightmare when she was in elementary school and junior high school.

He was the famous playboy of the Gibson family, who started flirting with girls in junior high and had a new girl by his side every three days. He was no doubt a promiscuous person. Nina was his classmate for a few years, and she detested someone like him. However, he loved to tease her and always caused her to fly into a rage.

It lasted until Aaron went abroad to study in his third year of junior high. Nina thought she would never see him again and was happy for a long time.

Little did she expect him to be still as lustful as always when they met again, and she was repulsed by that fact.

She kicked him angrily multiple times. He's drunk and unconscious anyway. I bet he won't remember who kicked him when he woke up.

After lashing out at him, Nina carefully headed toward Room 6617.

I am in luck. I wonder if they are in a hurry or if something happened. How could they not lock the door? Even God is helping me.

Nina was delighted.

Avery had previously consulted a lawyer on how to litigate a divorce.

The lawyer had informed her that if she could produce evidence of the husband cheating on the wife, the courts would rule that the divorce was mandatory even though the husband refused.

Now that she had an opportunity to get the necessary evidence to prove Dylan was cheating on Avery, Nina didn't want such an opportunity to go to waste.

She gently pushed open the door and turned on her phone camera.

There was a white bed, and the blanket was creased. Dylan was sitting on the bed then. His eyes were half closed, rendering others unable to read his emotions.

The man's thin lips were slightly opened, and his face was filled with excitement and satisfaction.

The woman, who was squatting next to him, was doing her best to please him using her mouth, moaning while extending an invitation to Dylan.

“I want you too...” she whined as she ground against him.

Dylan lowered his head, raised her chin, and smiled evilly. “You're gonna have to please me first by trying harder!”

The woman tried harder to please him, and Dylan let out a raspy roar of comfort.

Just when he was about to pin the woman on the bed, a series of camera flashes abruptly pulled him back to reality.

What the hell?

Nina was incensed at herself for her carelessness. She was so absorbed in getting evidence of Dylan with another woman that she had forgotten to turn off the flash. I'm going to get myself killed!

At that moment, she didn't care about getting the photos anymore. She kept her phone and turned to run.

Unfortunately, an arm wrapped around her neck tightly before she could go far.

The force was so great that she could hardly breathe.

Nina turned her head in the direction of the owner of the arm uneasily. She was met with Dylan's bloodthirsty and cruel smile.

Avery woke up early the next morning as she had a restless sleep the night before.

It was the weekend. She didn't have to wake up early, but she got out of bed as she couldn't sleep and her head hurt. Besides, she didn't have the habit of lazing in bed.

After kissing her two children, who were still sleeping, she turned on her phone, which had been switched off the entire night.

She received a lot of missed calls, and all of them were from Cayden.

He even sent her a message, seemingly trying to explain himself to her.

It read: I was too busy yesterday, Ery. I'm sorry for not calling you soon. Try not to switch off your phone when I'm not around you in the future. I will get worried if I can't get a hold of you. Give me a call once you switch on your phone.

Avery took a single glance at the message and placed her phone back on the bedside table.

She felt helpless at that point.

Many things had happened in the past two days, and her mind was abuzz with chaos.

Those inexplicable suspicions, especially, frustrated her a lot.

After changing her clothes, Avery decided to make breakfast.

She wore simple clothing at home. When she covered her tall and slender body with a shirt and a pair of jeans, they made her look like a student from university who had yet to graduate.

Avery headed to the bathroom to wash up. As soon as she finished, her phone rang.

The caller ID showed it was a call from Nina. When Avery was about to pick up the phone, the call was hung up by the person calling her and a notification came in.

The message read: Ery, I'm in Room 6617 at the Great Regency Hotel. Something happened. Hurry up and come now. I need to discuss this with you.

Avery was surprised to receive the text.

Nina was an impatient person. She would usually call if she needed something and rarely sent texts.

Moreover, Avery couldn't wrap her head around why Nina wanted to meet her at the hotel and not talk about it on the phone.

She dialed Nina's number, as she had a bad feeling. She wanted to make sure that it was Nina who had sent the text.

Back in the hotel, Dylan was toying with Nina's phone while lying on the bed with his legs crossed.

The lingering smoke in the air made his face look even more frightening.

When he saw Avery's call, he hung up without hesitation.

Although he rarely interacted with Avery, he was familiar with her personality. Avery had a weak personality, but she was kind and righteous. Nina was her best friend and her classmate. Even if she felt suspicious, she would rush to the hotel as she couldn't disregard Nina's safety.

Dylan's gloomy mood seemed to have improved slightly when he thought of that.

With a glint in his eyes, he got up and walked toward the bathroom.

On the way to the hotel, Avery called Nina a few times, but the latter didn't answer them.

Avery had no idea what had happened to Nina. Although she felt something was wrong, she rushed to the Great Regency Hotel as soon as possible, as she was worried about Nina's safety.

When she arrived at Room 6617, she noticed that the door was ajar.
