The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 1218

Chapter 1218

She could not help but love him.

In the manor of the Serton family, Wyatt entered Felix’s room. He watched him gazing intently at Jennifer, who was asleep. A hint of emotion flickered in his eyes.

“Do you like Jennifer very much?” Wyatt asked.

Felix kept his attention on the person beside him and did not answer Wyatt’s question, as if there was no need to answer that.

“But you need to know that she is the daughter of the Youngblood family. In the future, there will be many people who like her.” Wealth has always had the power to attract people. Furthermore, Jennifer was cute and had a pleasant personality. A girl like her would have no shortage of suitors in the future.

Upon hearing that, Felix’s expression changed. He raised his head and looked at his father. “Even if many people like her, I’ll make sure Jen only likes me!”

“But are you sure you can do that?” Wyatt smiled slightly. “Right now, you’re both still young, and she has limited exposure to people and playmates. Among the people she has met, you play the piano and liste to her. That’s why she likes you. But what about in the future? If she meets someone who can play the piano even better and listens to her more, perhaps she’ll like that person more.”

Felix’s small body tensed up, and his expression turned solemn.

He thought, “Jen… Will she like someone else better?”

“If you’re only trying to win her over by playing the piano better or listening to her more, you will be easily replaced one day because achieving these two things is not that difficult. In that case, how long do you think she’ll continue to like you?” Wyatt’s voice was like a sudden thunderstorm, creating deep pits in Felix’s heart.

Felix clenched his small teeth, and his face became paler.

Looking at Felix, Wyatt felt slightly reluctant. If the two old folks found out he had said these things to their precious grandson, they would

probably give him a good scolding.

However, he was determined to share these words with Felix, even if it seemed harsh and too realistic for a six-year-old child.

It was obvious that his feelings for Jennifer were growing more serious.

Initially, he thought being separated by distance would cause Felix’s feelings to fade. However, it seemed to have had the opposite effect.

After a while, Felix finally spoke. “Then, what should I do to make her keep liking me?”

“In that case, you’ll have to become more outstanding, surpass others, and be so remarkable that she can’t take her eyes off you. Perhaps that’s the only way she will continue to like you, and the final result will be what you want,” Wyatt said.

The heiress of the Youngblood family would undoubtedly have many prominent families seeking her hand in marriage. What Felix received from the Serton family was merely a qualification.

The rest depended on his accomplishments.

It would be up to Felix to become more outstanding or more ordinary in the future.

Felix remained silent for some time before responding, “I will become an outstanding person. I will work hard no matter what I need to lear

“Well, when the time comes, you’ll need to reduce your time spen playing the piano and focus on learning other things. I will arrang teachers for you,” Wyatt said. “Now, go to sleep. It’ll be bad if you’re when Jen wakes up tomorrow.”

“Mmm.” He hummed in response.

After Wyatt left the room, Felix gazed at the sleeping Jennifer beside hi and whispered, “Jen, please don’t stop liking me. I promise I’ll become better and better. I guarantee it.”

His young voice sounded like a solemn oath.

Amelia, Warren, Rosalie, and Jonathan were having a meal in the restaurant at the hotel.

Amelia looked at Guillermo, who was eating obediently, and could not

help asking, “Where is Jen? Didn’t she come to Lommore?”

“She’s at the Serton residence. We’ll pick her up in a while.” Rosalie also told Amelia about the installation of surveillance cameras and the investigation of the attending physician that she discussed with Wyatt at the Serton family yesterday.

“Thank you, Rosalie.” Amelia expressed her attitude.

“You’re welcome,” Rosalie replied.

Halfway through the meal, Amelia excused herself to go to the restroom,

and Rosalie assisted her, considering her current situation.

Jonathan took the opportunity and asked Warren, “Have you really forgotten your feelings for Amelia?”

“So what if I have?” Warren retorted.

“Don’t you think that’s a pity?” Jonathan smiled faintly and said, “The unforgettable feelings you once had are now completely gone. Haven’t you felt like there’s a void within you?”

Warren’s hand froze momentarily as he stared at him. Both of them had their memories hypnotized, so they understood each other’s feelings well.

“Jonathan, what are you trying to say?” he asked.

Jonathan said slowly, “Sometimes, what we call ‘hypnosis’ is just self-deception, a temporary forgetting. Once these feelings resurfac might only intensify our desires. When I was hypnotized, I at least some things, but you’re different. You probably remember everythi now, don’t you?”
