Chapter 168
“All right. Then let’s date,” replied Lillian, in a way that showed she was accepting her fate. Anyhow, Callum wanted to get his revenge. At least she’s mentally prepared for what’s coming for her. “Well.. can you give me back my phone now?”
She didn’t forget that the main purpose of her coming to the mansion with him was to get her phone back.
Callum stared at her intently for a while and then threw the phone on the coffee table to her.
“Ah!” exclaimed Lillian and narrowly just picked up the phone. It had cost her 2,000 dollars, and even then, it was her gritting her teeth and buying it. If Callum’s throw ended up causing the phone to fall on the ground and smash the screen, it would cost over 400 dollars to repair it.
It pained her just to think about it
“And it it really broke, I wouldn’t even dare to ask Callum for compensation!” thought Lillian.
Lillian turned on her phone and checked the time. It was already past 9 p.m., and there were several missed calls from her parents, so she quickly called them back.
After a while, the call was connected, and Stephen’s roar came through the phone. “Don’t you know to call ahead if you are not coming home for dinner? And what are you doing not picking up my call when I try to get in touch with you? Are you trying to reenact the scene from yesterday, with me ending up in the police station to make a report?”
Lillian was profusely sweating as she heard her father’s words. “I-I had something to deal with at the last minute. I’ll be heading home now immediately.”
She then quickly hung up the phone and looked at Callum, who had walked to her side without realizing it. With Stephen’s loud voice, Callum must have heard all those words Stephen had scolded her just now.
“Well, if there’s nothing else, I will get going,” said Lillian awkwardly.
“Ill give you a ride,” said Callum.
Lillian hurriedly said. “That won’t be necessary. I can take a taxi back by myself. plus…. I need to go to the parking lot yesterday to get my car.”
Without giving Lillian a chance to refuse, Callum suddenly grabbed her wrist and said, “Ill give you a ride. We are already dating now.”
Lillian was rendered speechless. “All right. Let him give me a ride since he is so insistent on it, she thought
Lillian stopped arguing and obediently followed Callum out of the villa.
“Give me the key to your car, demanded Callum from Lillian.
Lillian seemed dazed and bewildered, but she still took the car key out of her bag and handed it to Callum.
Callum then handed the key to his driver and asked him to pick up the car from where Lillian parked it yesterday. He even instructed the driver to get the car and return it to Lillian’s residential area.
“Yes, Mr. White,” said the driver and left right after.
Then, Callum got into the driver’s seat before looking at Lillian who was still standing in shock by the car, and said coldly.
“Get in
“Oh Only then did Lillian snap to her senses and hurriedly get into the car.
Along the way, as Callum drove the car, he ignored Lillian.
Lillian had nothing to do, so she turned on her phone and decided to set another password for it. She felt that Callum probably had already looked at most of the content on her phone.
Just when she wanted to set a separate password for the video folder on her phone, she suddenly found the videos on her phone… Well, it seemed that quite a few videos were missing.
Lillian hurriedly checked the videos in the folder and was shocked to realize that all her idols videos were missing!
As a person that was a sucker for good looks, although Lillian was constantly changing her love for idols day in and out and could be considered a “playboy” fan, she was sincere about liking every one of her idols.
In the period when she loved that particular idol, she was undoubtedly a loyal fan. She even spent money to watch their concerts and attend their autograph sessions.
Sometimes she would even join in the fan meetings held by celebrities.
Of course, most of these things were before the incident involving Rosalie happened. Lillian was less into idols and didn’t really keep up the trend after what happened to Rosalie Almost all of Lillian’s focus was on her job or how to help Rosalie
turn over her verdict.
Therefore, the videos of watching concerts, autograph sessions, and fan meetings were just like beautiful memories of her
But now, these memories were… gone, just like that!
“What happened to the videos of my participation in idols’ and celebrities’ events?” yelled Lillian as she turned and stared at Callum, who was still driving.
“I deleted them.” replied Callum straight off without any hesitation
“Y-You deleted them?” said Lillian She felt that she was going to faint. If he hadn’t given her back the phone, she would have given up hope of retrieving the content in it. But against her expectations, he actually returned her phone, but those precious videos were gone
“That’s right. It’s quite a thorough deletion. Even if you send your phone to an organization specializing in phone maintenance, you won’t be able to restore those videos, added Callum
Lillian felt incredulous at Callum’s shamelessness. Those are the memories of my youth shouted Lillian.
Callum suddenly sneered, “Memories?” Then, he turned the steering wheel and parked the car directly on the roadside. He unfastened his seat belt, and his body leaned toward her. “Do you know what was running through my mind when I saw those videos?
