Rosalie glanced at Elodia indifferently. She naturally knew what the latter was thinking.

“Then which law firm is she in now?” the newcomer asked curiously. 

“Well…” Elodia looked at Rosalie as if she was in a dilemma, hesitant to speak. 

Rosalie only felt that Elodia’s act was too lame. It would be fine if Elodia wanted to humiliate her. What disgusted her was that Elodia tried to humiliate her but still pretended she was being put in a difficult position and couldn’t bear to say anything at the same time. 

“I’m now a delivery woman of Aiden’s Diner. All of you are welcome to place your orders. I can bring you guys the menu next time, Rosalie said generously, not as embarrassing and awkward as Elodia had imagined. Rosalie even smiled.

Just as Rosalie walked out of the office and went to the elevator, a series of rapid footsteps suddenly sounded behind her, followed by a voice. “Rosalie, wait a minute!” 

Rosalie turned around and saw a man hurrying over. He stopped before her and gazed at her with an obscure look. 

The man in his thirties had a standard figure and average look. He was dressed in a suit, just like those city social elites usually wear. 

“Yes?” Rosalie looked at the old colleague. The man used to work with her in the firm, and rumor had been going around the firm for some time that he liked her. However, she was already in a relationship with Zachary at that time and did not take such a rumor seriously.
