The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 202

Chapter 202
From the beginning, what Jonathan wanted was Rosalie’s willingness.
However, as time passed by, he wanted more things now.
He wanted to get more love from her and wanted her not to fall for other men except him.
Moreover, he could not even accept that there would be another man involved in her future. Every time he thought of this possibility, his heart was filled with jealousy.
Indeed, it was jealousy. Because of her, he finally understood what it was like to be jealous.
Rosalie raised her eyes and looked at Jonathan seriously. His hand, which was warm, was touching her cheek. The memory of them spending time together all these days kept appearing in her mind.
Even if she still had some kind of fear toward him in her heart, perhaps it was just like what he said to her while they were in the car-that she liked him.
Maybe she had started to like him even when he was Jon before.
“Do you really want me to like you?” she asked in a low voice.
“Yes.” He answered without hesitation.
“Then, what about you? What kind of feelings do you have for me? Is it because you think I’m interesting? So… I’m a good object for your game?” She summoned up her courage and asked him the question that had always been kept deep in her heart.
His eyes darkened and he suddenly sneered,
as an object in a game, why would I do this?”
His hand grabbed the back of her head and he closed the distance between them. “There are not many people that I want to love in my entire life. Maybe you are the only one left other than my father. Tell me, what kind of feelings should I have for you?”
Thump! Thump! Thump!
Her heart beat even more violently.
Rosalie gently raised both her hands and put them on Jonathan’s cheeks. She seemed to be wanting to feel his existence more clearly.
His body suddenly stiffened. The look that he had as he looked at her seemed to be slightly surprised and somewhat excited and eager.
She heard her own voice saying, “Jon, I like you.”
It was the first time that she admitted her love right in front of him after knowing his true identity.
The next day, when Rosalie opened her eyes, she saw Jonathan sitting by the bed.
He was dressed in a white shirt and beige pants. The morning sunlight fell on him and made him look cleaner and fresher, just like the ideal prince in a fairytale that was the dream of every girl.
After that, her eyes met his.
“Are you awake?” A clear and elegant voice resonated in her ears.
She shuddered, sat up suddenly, and looked at him in a daze. “W-Why are you here?”

“It’s because there are some things I want to confirm with you,” he replied. Then, he leaned down, raised his hand, and gently pulled a few strands of hair on her cheek and tucked them behind her ear. “So I came to your room early in the morning.”
“What do you want to confirm about?” Her mouth felt slightly dry all of a sudden. As she looked at him at such a close distance, she felt the visual impact even stronger. His eyes, his breath, and his voice seemed to touch one’s heart so easily.
“Last night, you said you liked me, Rosie. Do you remember?” he murmured.
Her face flushed again. Memories of the previous night began to flow into her mind. She bit her lips and murmured, “I remember…”
Maybe she was a little impulsive when she said it the previous night, but it was also the truth. Indeed, she seemed to be falling in love with the man unknowingly-the man that was called Jonathan.
In her heart, there was a sense of fear and love for him. Indeed, these were two different feelings, but the feelings were combined together even when they contradicted each other.
“So
you said you want to date me, didn’t you?” he asked again.
“Ah!” Rosalie was stunned for a moment, and then she remembered that he held her in his arms after she said that she liked him the previous night.

“So what do you want to do so that you will only fall for me, Rosie? And that you won’t like others anymore.”
At that time, when she heard his words, she somehow said, “I will only fall for you… Are you talking about being a boyfriend?”
After listening to her words, he murmured affectionately, “A boyfriend? Do you want to date me, Rosie?”
“Dating?” she thought. When the word entered her mind, her mind seemed to turn blank. Perhaps it was because she had never assumed that she would date him or something like that before.
He looked at her with a smile. “Let’s date, then. Is it okay, Rosie?”
She could not help saying, “Okay”.
At this moment, when Rosalie was facing Jonathan’s question, she suddenly did not know how to answer him. “Dating? Jonathan and I?” she wondered.
It was as if the most unbelievable thing was going to happen to her.
“You can’t go back on your words, Rosie.” Jonathan’s lips moved near Rosalie’s ear and his breath tickled her ears as he added, “Yesterday, you said these words personally. Even if you really want to go back on your words, I won’t let you do it.”
A trace of determination flashed through his eyes.
He thought, “Yes, I won’t let her go back on her word. It’s just like when something beautiful has already fallen into my hands. How can I be willing to return it?”
Rosalie suddenly felt her heart was completely messed up.
“Dating? Am I really dating Jonathan?” she wondered.
When Rosalie arrived to work at the diner, she still could not come to her senses.
However, when she arrived at the diner, she did not see Amelia. Instead, she only saw Matilda holding Aiden at the checkout
counter.
“Where is Ms. Haab?” Rosalie asked.
“She… went out to do something. Maybe she’ll be back later,” said Matilda. However, there was something slightly unnatural in her tone.
Rosalie did not notice that Matilda was acting awkwardly. Instead, the former began to prepare the things in the diner and even picked Aiden up to play with him for a short while.
Aiden liked Rosalie very much. When she picked him up, he would smile shyly at her.
Rosalie also communicated with Aiden using some awkward sign language. Thus, she did not notice that there was a concerned expression on Matilda’s face.
At this moment, Amelia stood in a large office and looked at Calvin, the man that people had been referring to as the scion of the entertainment industry.
When she met Calvin before, she never thought that she would take the initiative to come to see him under such circumstances one day.
“My secretary told me that you’ve always asked to see me,” said Calvin as he looked at Amelia. It so happened that she mentioned the name of another person to his secretary. Otherwise, he would not have agreed to meet her.
“Well, Mr. Gunner… I’m here to see you today because I have a favor to ask from you,” Amelia said humbly.
