The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 251

Chapter 251

He stroked her cheek softly, and his movements were careful. His thin lips parted. His voice was hoarse and distressed. “Can you love me, please?” he implored.

He appeared pitiful as he pleaded. His words and acts told her how deeply he desired her.

She licked her lips subconsciously when she saw how devilish he was, but this caused her lips to appear more seductive and delicate. She didn’t know how to answer him. Moreover, she seemed to slowly lose all ability to think now as his overwhelmed her.

Her sculptured face, dark doe eyes, delicate nose, and how she looked at him became a fatally bewitching combination for

him.

“In the past, I believed I’d never ask for a woman’s love like this. But everything has changed after I met her. I only realize now that I desire her and want her to love me!” Jonathan was having an epiphany.

His desire and thoughts gradually overwhelmed his mind. He was willing to lower his pride and let go of his biased judgment when he faced her. For her sake, he would forsake his principles to experiènce the feelings and emotions he had never experienced.

He pressed his lips on hers again. While his previous kiss was wild and domineering, this kiss was gentler and softer.

He kissed her again and again.

Rosalie suddenly returned to her senses. Deep crimson stained her cheeks, and she intuitively tried to put a distance against Jonathan.

“I… I…” she stammered. Her doe eyes told him clearly that she was apprehensive.

After all, this situation was beyond her expectation.

The apprehension in her eyes alerted Jonathan. His eyes gradually became clear.

He knew she was scared. Perhaps she wasn’t prepared for more intimacy. Moreover, she might’ve not fallen in love with him.

Jonathan blamed himself for her reaction. He was so eager for her love that he was pressing her for more intimacy, but he ignored her mental state during the process.

“I’m sorry…” he murmured.

Even if he might overthink due to his desire for her, he didn’t want to force the matter when she was scared.

He wanted her to get intimate with him willingly, not by being forced.

Jonathan propped his body upright after saying that. His beautiful eyes were full of restraint and patience, but his lips were quivering as he tried to smile. With utmost self-control, he told her, “Don’t be afraid. As long as you are unwilling, I won’t.”

For him, nothing was more important than her.

He pulled the quilt over her body and then got out of bed. Next, he turned around and headed to the bathroom.

“Jon!” she called him before she was aware of her action.

She might be timid and scared before, but now, she was worried for him.

Jonathan halted in his tracks momentarily as he answered, “It’s okay. I’ll just take a cold shower.” His voice sounded stiff and pained.

Unexpectedly, he heard something rustling behind him. Next, a pair of slender arms wrapped around his waist, and a voluptuous yet soft body pressed against his back.

Jonathan’s body stiffened abruptly. “You… Do you know what you’re doing?” It was a simple sentence, but it came out of his mouth one word at a time, as difficult as squeezing toothpaste from an empty tube.

Rosalie bit her lip. “I-I know.”

All she wanted right now was to follow her heart and tell him what she wanted to say.

She seemed to have mustered all the courage she had for this mot.
