The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 441

Chapter 441

“What kind of place is it?” Rosalie asked. Lillian’s words have piqued her curiosity.

“Well, you’ll know when we arrive there later,” Lillian said, covering her mouth and chuckling.

Rosalie suddenly felt that her friend’s chuckle sounded like one of those old villainesses from movies or TV shows.

And when Lillian finally took Rosalie to the good spot she had mentioned, Rosalie was a little speechless. It was just an underground bar, crowded by high schoolers aged 17 or 18 and some young people in their early 20s.

People her age looked a little out of place, stuck in the middle of that bar.

“What’s good about this place?” Rosalic asked in confusion.

“You’ll know in a while,” Lillian said as she winked at Rosalie.

Then, at 8 o’clock sharp, the atmosphere suddenly became more lively than before. Five men entered the stage right in front of the bar.

It was just a band singing on stage, which Rosalie didn’t think was special.

But Lillian’s eyes lit up brightly as she said, “Here they come!”

“You brought me here today to see them?” Rosalie asked.

“Yes, they are quite popular in this niche circle recently. The five of them have good looks and figures. And when they dance, it is so intoxicating!” Lillian exclaimed, getting more excited with each word. She just wanted to introduce those five men to Rosalie in detail.

Well, Rosalie knew Lillian quickly got excited when handsome guys were mentioned. “Aren’t you seeing Callum? Aren’t you worried he’ll find out you’re here?”

“Of course, I hid the fact that I’m coming here!” Lillian said. Her expression turned intoxicated as she looked at the handsome men. “Besides, I just like admiring these men. The person I really like is Callum!”

Rosalie was stunned. “You like Callum?”

“What?” Only now did Lillian realize she had spilled the beans on her feelings. Then, she said embarrassedly, “Well… I haven’t told you yet, but I’m really dating Callum now. As I said before, it’s not some pretend relationship that will end in revenge and whatnot.”

Originally, Lillian wanted to wait for a while and find a suitable opportunity to let Rosalie know. After all, it had not been long since Rosalie had broken up with Jonathan.

When Rosalie saw the guilt on Lillian’s face, she immediately understood Lillian’s reluctance to tell her the truth. Rosalie smiled and patted Lillian on the shoulder before saying, “This is great news. You and Callum are together now. You should be happy. Why didn’t you tell me? Just because I broke up with Jonathan?”

Lillian didn’t say anything, but the expression on her face was enough of an explanation for Rosalie.

“Lillian, just because Jonathan and I broke up doesn’t mean I will be disappointed or unhappy that you are in a real relationship with Callum. Aren’t you underestimating the friendship we have between us?” Rosalie said, smiling gently, “I’ll just be happy for you. I am happy that my best friend has finally found someone she likes! So you don’t have to feel guilty

or embarrassed about anything.”

Lillian breathed a sigh of relief and grinned. “You’re right. I underestimated the friendship between us! And I underestimated you as well. Come on, we should let loose later! Who does Jonathan think he is? There are a lot of men in this world! I’ll find you a dozen handsome men later!”

When Rosalie saw Lillian getting excited, she agreed and said, “All right. Make it a dozen!”

“What?” In the study of the Youngblood residence, Carlos’ expression turned grim after answering the phone. “Just… keep an eye on them, he added to the person on the other end of the phone.

them?

Carlos looked at Jonathan nervously after ending the call, not knowing how to get to the point.

“What is it? What happened?” Jonathan asked indifferently.

“Well… it’s about Ms. Leighton,” Carlos said.

“Rosalie?” Jonathan asked, his expression changing. “What’s

with her?”

“W-Well, the thing is… Ms. Leighton’s friend, Lillian, came to visit her today, and then they went to an underground bar together to watch a show,” Carlos answered, stammering.

When Jonathan heard that, he asked, “What? Has someone started makin Rosalie getting hurt. After all, he had sent people to protect her.

trouble for her?” He was not worried about

“If they can’t even provide basic protection for her, then they’re no better than a useless lump of muscle,” Jonathan scoffed

“Nobody gave them any trouble, but The Kings are performing at the underground bar tonight,” Carlos replied.

“The Kings?” Jonathan echoed, raising his eyebrows slightly.

“They are a bar troupe that has become quite popular recently. Their performance… Well, they are popular among young women,” Carlos murmured, his voice dropping as he came to the point.

Jonathan narrowed his eyes slightly and ordered, “Get on with the rest of the information!”

“It’s just that when The Kings get on stage and start performing… there will be a lot of dancing, some of which… will drive women crazy, like… taking off… their clothes…” Carlos stammered.
