The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 705

Chapter 705

The photo perfectly captured the image of the family Aiden had always wanted. He liked to look at these photos on her phone from time to time before a satisfied smile would spread on his little face.

Because of that, she left these photos on her phone for the time being and did not delete them.

Amelia lowered her eyes and looked at the three people in the photo. It was taken on a rotating wooden carriage. Aiden was smiling happily, but she was holding the seat armrest next to her with a trace of nervousness. Her brows were furrowed slightly, as though she was suppressing something.

She must have been feeling unwell then as she coincidentally happened to have an attack.

Meanwhile, Warren’s head was turned as if he was looking at her.

For those unaware, they might have assumed Warren was looking at her with concern just from glancing at the photo alone.

Unfortunately, sometimes, photos failed to capture the reality of the situation. Even though she and Warren sat in the same carriage, they were about as far apart as they could possibly be.

She thought, “I hope… I never see him again for the rest of my life and even the afterlife!”

Suddenly, Amelia heard her son’s childish voice shouting, “Daddy!”

Amelia abruptly lifted her head, only to see Aiden running toward a tall figure. It was none other than Warren!

Amelia was stunned and looked at Warren in surprise. But at that moment, his face was terrifyingly gloomy. Even though Aiden had already run to him, he didn’t stop at all, let alone look at the little boy. Instead, he seemed intent on walking toward her.

Amelia suddenly felt uneasy.

Warren walked up to Amelia and said in a cold voice, “Go to the hospital with me to apologize to Irene. Do you know that she miscarried because of you pushing her? She lost a three-month-old fetus just like that!”

Amelia was stunned. Her previous guess had turned into reality.

She thought, ‘Irene had a miscarriage again. This time was also a deliberate act to frame me, but… Why? Why did Irene do this?

I might have been a threat to Irene back then, but now, Warren only feels disgust

and hatred toward me. I’m not a threat to Irene at all!

Was there really a need for Irene to sacrifice a baby for me?’

Before Amelia could think further about it, Warren grabbed her hand, wanting to take her to the hospital.

However, her feet remained firmly in place as she had no intention to go him.

with

“I won’t apologize to anyone. Warren, you coming to me and demanding I apologize to Irene has got to be the biggest joke I’ve ever heard!” Amelia said coldly.

“A big joke?” Warren looked at Amelia coldly and said, “Amelia, it seems that I was too merciful to you. The true joke is that I only had you spend three and a half years in prison! If you were still in prison now, how could Irene be injured?” Amelia just looked at him with a pitying expression. “Warren, you are blind!” “Enough!” He shouted angrily, “I don’t care about your willingness. You must apologize to Irene today, or I will ensure you stay in prison for the rest of your life!”

“Mommy was wronged; she didn’t hurt anyone!” At that moment, a childish voice interrupted the adults’ conversation. Aiden’s little body stood in front of Amelia protectively while his face was flushed an angry red.

Even if the person in front of him was his father, he couldn’t wrongly accuse his mother!

Warren’s face darkened. “Aiden, get out of the way. Your mommy has done something wrong and must apologize!”

“I won’t move. Mommy didn’t do anything wrong. Why should she apologize?” Aiden then added, “Mommy’s hand just gently touched that woman, and she fell back by herself. Mommy just didn’t want her to touch me! Mommy’s not in the wrong!”

He didn’t like that woman either!

Although Irene had been smiling at him, he noticed the hatred in her gaze.

Despite being still a child, he could tell who was good to him and who hated him! However, in Warren’s opinion, what Aiden said at that moment only seemed to add fuel to the fire.

“Amelia, is this how you educate your child? To tell nothing but lies? Is he supposed to grow up and be just like you? You probably don’t know this, but there are surveillance cameras in the private room!

Irene just wanted to say a few words to Aiden, but you pushed her away!

“Sure, it was only a small shove, but the intent was malicious! You were aware that Irene was pregnant, yet you still did that! Were you afraid that she would threaten Aiden’s status if she gave birth to the child?”

Warren said fiercely. Every word was so cold and sharp!

Amelia finally understood how some people could kill someone with words!

She didn’t care about Warren’s misunderstanding or any vicious words he said to her, but she did not want Warren to say those things in front of Aiden!
