The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 812

Chapter 812

Kurt thought, “Is this woman really becoming Mr. Youngblood’s weakness?”

An inexplicable emotion flashed across Kurt’s mind. He thought, “In the past, Mr. Leonard Youngblood was worried that Mr. Youngblood would have a weakness and easily be manipulated by the Youngblood family’s enemies, which could lead to the family’s downfall, so he left his dying wish to eliminate Rosalie. Back then, Mr. Youngblood was willing to risk his life for Rosalie. It was only because she made the decision to sacrifice. herself that Mr. Youngblood was spared. And now, five years have passed, yet this woman is still behaving the same as before.”

At that moment, Jonathan only felt stifled after hearing Rosalie’s words. He was feeling out of breath as if he was suffocating.

He suddenly held Rosalie’s hand tightly. “Even if someone threatens you with my safety one day, I won’t allow you to take your own life! Do you understand?”

Rosalie looked at Jonathan but didn’t answer him as he wished.

“Rosie!” He subconsciously raised his voice as if he was determined to hear her reply no matter what.

“In that case, let’s hope this day never comes,” she said. “Jon, at least I can promise you that I won’t give up on myself until the last minute.”

He stared at her and suddenly felt a sting in his mind. He felt something flash across his mind, but it was so fleeting that he couldn’t grasp it.

Kurt’s voice broke the silence. “Rosalie, even if you say so, I can’t tell you where that child is because the child died after he was born.”

“How is that possible?” Rosalie couldn’t believe it.

“Why is it impossible? Otherwise, where do you think this child is now? I don’t have any children here!” Kurt said coldly.

Rosalie stared at Kurt in a daze, thinking, “Indeed. Mr. Wilmer doesn’t have any kids around him. So, does that mean my child died five years ago? My child passed away the moment he or she was delivered!”

It was not that she had never imagined that possibility, but when she heard Kurt’s confirmation, it still hurt so much that she couldn’t breathe. She felt as if someone was forcing an unbearable reality on her. She thought, “I clearly remember the three kids moving in my belly. I

clearly…”

Rosalie’s vision suddenly turned dark. She fell down and fell into a familiar embrace. Prior to passing out, she muttered, “I’m sorry…”

She was thinking, “I’m sorry. I’m your mother, yet I failed to protect you, my child. I’m sorry. You should’ve lived, yet you didn’t get an opportunity to see this world. I’m your mother, yet I only know of your passing after five years!”

Rosalie fainted, and Jonathan stared at Kurt. “Is that child alive or dead? You’d better think it over before answering. If you lie, I will make your life worse than death!”

“Is the child’s survival important? I don’t have any children here. That’s all I can say. I won’t tell you any more than that,” said Kurt.

Jonathan pursed his thin lips tightly, then picked up Rosalie without saying a word and walked out of the room.

Outside the house, Carlos and his men were waiting. As soon as they saw Jonathan come out, they hurriedly went forward and said, “Mr.

Youngblood, what’s wrong with Mrs. Youngblood?”

“She was too emotional and passed out,” Jonathan said. “Inform the police of Kurt’s whereabouts.”

“Yes,” Carlos answered.

When Rosalie woke up, she was in the ward of the hospital. She saw Jonathan staying by her side and asked, “Why am I here?”

“You passed out, so I brought you to the hospital for a doctor’s examination just in case. Fortunately, you’re fine,” Jonathan said.

The memories from before suddenly flooded Rosalie’s mind. Suddenly, she stiffened and wailed.

She suddenly hugged him and sobbed hysterically. “Jon, what should we do? The child is gone…”

Jonathan hugged Rosalie and felt her body twitch violently as she sobbed. He said, “Kurt’s words may not be true. If the child is really gone, why didn’t he tell us where the child was buried? He would rather be detained by the police than tell us the whereabouts of the child!”

That was what baffled Jonathan. He intuitively believed that the child should still be alive.

Nevertheless, he wondered what Kurt’s intention was in keeping that. matter a secret if the child were still alive.

“No… Really?” Rosalie finally stopped crying.

“It must not be true. I will continue to investigate the whereabouts of my child.” Jonathan raised his hand and gently wiped Rosalie’s tears. “You told me not to cry, but you’re crying so much now.”

Rosalie felt weak all over. The great swings in her emotions caused her to feel utterly drained.
