The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 842

Chapter 842

“Really?” Jonathan murmured. “I hope she doesn’t sympathize with Zachary.”

Carlos couldn’t help but mourn for Zachary in his heart. If Rosalie really sympathized with Zachary, then Zachary would be on his own.

“Also, find out who is behind this. I want to know who wants to harm Rosie,” Jonathan said coldly. He knew the cleaner was just doing someone else’s bidding.

“Yes,” Carlos answered quickly.

“Also, regarding the matter of Rosie and her mentor getting sued, find a lawyer who is best at fighting such lawsuits in Strico to counterclaim it. Then, investigate Yoel to see if there’s another person behind him orchestrating this scheme!” After all, Rosalie was now Jonathan’s wife and the lady of the Youngblood family. Anyone with common sense wouldn’t be so foolish as to offend the Youngblood family.

Moreover, he read the case files from back then and realized Rosalie was right. The factual evidence was undoubtedly conclusive, and there was no possibility of misjudgment.

Jonathan thought, “But if that was really the case, what is Yoel playing at, then? Is he just trying to attract the media’s attention? Is there any benefit for him to gain, or is he harboring other ulterior motives?”

Jonathan’s gaze turned pensive as he pondered. No matter who was trying to harm Rosalie, he would protect her from getting hurt.

“Yes, Mr. Youngblood. I’ll carry out your orders,” Carlos replied, knowing the importance of Rosalie to Jonathan.

However, what made him a little confused was that Jonathan seemed to care about Rosalie as much as before. If he hadn’t known it, he would’ve thought Jonathan hadn’t lost his memories.

The car arrived at the Youngblood residence. When Jonathan entered, he saw Rosalie and their two children dancing in the living room. Jennifer danced excitedly next to her mother. Even Guillermo was also blushing and twisting his little body awkwardly.

Although the little boy seemed reluctant to move his body, the

embarrassed smile on his face was something Jonathan had never seen before.

Since Rosalie’s return, Guillermo seemed to be more lively and cheerful.

In a daze, Jonathan looked at Rosalie, surrounded by their children and smiling dazzlingly. He thought, “Rosie… She promised she would give me a home. And now, she has truly lived up to her promise and provided me with a home.”

At that moment, Rosalie seemed to sense his gaze. She looked over and then stopped moving unconsciously.

Just like that, the two held each other’s gaze.

“Daddy!” Seeing Jonathan, Jennifer immediately ran up to him happily, spreading her arms as a sign of asking him to hug her.

Jonathan picked up his daughter and kissed her cheek naturally.

Of course, that kissing gesture was also a habit he developed under Jennifer’s insistence upon her return to the Youngblood family.

“You’re back. Have you had dinner?” Rosalie asked. “If you haven’t eaten anything, I’ve left some food for you.”

“Okay. I’ll eat some,” Jonathan said.

So, Rosalie asked her son and daughter to continue playing under the housekeeper’s watch while she accompanied Jonathan to the dining room for dinner. She happened to have something else to tell him as well.

The housekeeper served the food Rosalie had requested them to save for Jonathan earlier. Jonathan picked up the fork and started to eat.

He didn’t eat fast or slowly. Even if it was just a simple meal, he still exuded an elegant aura while eating.

Rosalie originally intended to wait for Jonathan to finish dinner before talking about what happened that day, but Jonathan said first, “You were almost hit by a flowerpot today. Fortunately, nothing happened to you. I will arrange for more people to protect you.”

Rosalie was stunned for a moment, and then she understood that the bodyguards or driver had reported the incident to him.

“Okay.” She didn’t refuse his offer. “I was indeed lucky. I asked the bodyguards to find out what happened, but I don’t know the result yet.” “The cleaner threw the flowerpot,” Jonathan said.

“The cleaner?” Rosalie was stunned. “Did you ask someone to investigate this incident as well?”

“Of course, I have to send someone to investigate it since you’re

involved!” he said. “Fortunately, you’re fine today.” If something happened to her, he might lose his mind and unleash his wrath on everyone inside the building.

Putting down the plate and cutlery in his hand, he suddenly grabbed her hands.

Her fingers were slightly bent out of shape. He knew that was a result of the injuries she sustained during her imprisonment. The person who hurt her before was Yvette. As for Zachary, he had watched the scenes unfold without intervening.
