The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 925

Chapter 925

“Didn’t you ask?”

“Lillian didn’t want to say it, so I stopped asking.” Rosalie thought for a while and added, “Jon, can you find Callum? I want to meet him and ask him what happened.”

“You always care about Lillian,” Jonathan murmured.

“Lillian’s my best friend.” Without Lillian, Rosalie wouldn’t be here now.

“What about me? Do you care more about her or me?” Jonathan asked, leaning closer to Rosalie.

Jonathan stared at Rosalie with his bright eyes, which were full of charm and desire.

Although Jonathan knew that Lillian meant a lot to Rosalie, he still couldn’t help but desire that Rosalie cared more about him. He wanted all Rosalie’s affection. Even if he could not get all of them, he hoped to get the most of them

Jonathan was greedy, but this greed was only for Rosalie.

“You’re not jealous of this too, are you?” Rosalie asked. “You’re my husband, and Lillian is my friend. There’s no need to compare!”

“Yeah, I’m jealous of this too. Do you think I’m stupid?” Jonathan’s eyelashes trembled slightly, and his eyes slowly lowered as he fastened the seat belt for Rosalie with his long fingers.

Jonathan’s words inexplicably distressed Rosalie. Just as Jonathan was about to withdraw his hand, Rosalie suddenly grabbed it.

After days of recuperation, Rosalie regained the ability to make simple grasping movements with her hands, though she was still unable to apply any significant force.

However, at that moment, Rosalie was holding Jonathan’s hand with as much strength as she could

muster.

“What’s wrong?” Jonathan raised his eyes and looked at Rosalie in confusion.

“You’re not stupid. How could my husband be stupid? It’s just because you love me so much.” Rosalie looked at Jonathan seriously. “Jon, Lillian is the most important friend of my life. If she encounters difficulties, I will do everything possible to help her, but you… are the one I am willing to live and die with. I will exchange my life for yours without hesitation!”

Jonathan looked straight at Rosalie in a daze and didn’t even notice the two rows of tears falling from his

eyes.

Jonathan’s heart beat wildly at this moment, and his blood seemed to boil. Rosalie’s voice was like the most melodious heavenly music when she told him how much she loved him.

“Jon, why are you crying? Don’t cry! I-I didn’t mean to make you cry.” Rosalie hurriedly drew a tissue and wiped Jonathan’s tears.

The next moment, Jonathan suddenly hugged Rosalie in his arms. “Rosie, just love me like this forever, okay?” He wanted her to love him, to love him very, very much.

Jonathan’s breath enveloped Rosalie. She leaned against his chest and felt his warmth. Then she raised. her hands, hugged him with as much strength as she could, and answered, “Okay!”

It was naturally not difficult for Jonathan to look into Callum’s whereabouts, but the results of the investigation surprised Rosalie.

Callum was now at the airport in Strico, ready to leave.

“Callum is leaving? That’s too fast!” Rosalie said in disbelief. Then she said to Jonathan, “I’m going to the airport. I have to see Callum and question him no matter what!”

“Okay. I’ll go with you,” Jonathan said and drove his car toward the Strico Airport.

When they arrived at the airport, Rosalie met Callum in the VIP lounge.

Callum was dressed in a black trench coat, and next to him was a black suitcase.

“Are you leaving Strico, Callum?” Rosalie asked while panting slightly. After knowing that Callum was in the VIP lounge, Rosalie had run all the way with Jonathan.

“Can’t I leave?” Callum looked at Rosalie indifferently. “I came to Strico to discuss business. Now that everything is done, I have to go back.”

“What about Lillian?”. Rosalie asked anxiously. “Do you know that Lillian is still lying in the hospital bed…”

“So what?” Callum interrupted Rosalie. “How Lillian is has nothing to do with me.”

“You…” Rosalie took two steps forward, raised her hand, and slapped Callum in the face.

Slap!

A loud slap sounded in the VIP lounge. Fortunately, it was a separate small room with no one else around.
