Jonathan slowly leaned down, his face slowly approaching her. He gently rubbed one side of her cheek with his cheek as if he was not parting from her. However, he spoke the words that made her terrified. 

“None of my business? But if I wanted to know the answer, I would definitely know. Will you find out his position in your heart if something bad happens to him?” 

Rosalie suddenly trembled and stared at Jonathan. “What do you want to do? He’s just a colleague to me. There is nothing 

between us!” 

“But he likes you, doesn’t he?” murmured Jonathan as he rubbed her tender lips softly with his thumb. 

Rosalie suddenly felt that her lips were getting hot as if the place where his finger touched was burning. 

“You… Don’t do anything to him.” Her lips trembled slightly, and she spoke with difficulty. 

“So, you care about him.” Jonathan breathed. His voice sounded as if he could remove all guards of others, but his gaze was sharp while he was staring at her. 

“N-No…” Rosalie tried to avoid his breath but could not do so, no matter how she tried. 

Everything around her seemed to be enveloped by his aura. Not only were her lips hot, but even her body was slightly 

warm. 

“Really? You don’t like him at all?” His lips gently brushed at the tip of her nose as if teasing an uneasy animal 

Rosalie’s body stiffened. “No.” 

Jonathan suddenly chuckled, and his facial features seemed to soften with a smile. He appeared innocent and charming. The words contradicted each other but could be used on him simultaneously. 

Rosalie was in a daze. At that moment, he smiled as if he had become Jon again. 

“Then, remember what you just said, Rosie. She did not return to her senses until Jonathan’s voice sounded near her ear. He was not Jon but Jonathan.

Rosalie felt embarrassed. 

“I almost forgot that you haven’t had anything yet.” He lowered his voice before loosening his grip on Rosalic. 

Rosalic breathed a sigh of relief. Then, she watched Jonathan walk to the table, raise his hand, and touch the boxed meal she bought, saying, “It’s too cold.” 

“Just warm it up. Rosalie pursed her lips. 

However, Jonathan grabbed her hand and said, “Since it’s cold, how about we eat out? Speaking of which, I once said that if I had money in the future, I would treat you to a nice meal” 

Rosalie felt the emotions surge in her heart. When she heard that, she was delighted and looked forward to going out happily for a nice meal one day. However, Rosalie felt bitter when she listened to the same thing at that moment.

Carlos was waiting outside. As soon as he saw Jonathan and Rosalie coming out, he immediately got out of the car and opened the door respectfully.

“Yes,” answered Carlos. He glanced carefully at the two people in the back seat from the rearview mirror. 

Rosalie lowered her head, and Carlos could not see her expression clearly. However, Jonathan seemed to not be in a bad mood like he entered the residential area before. Carlos thought, “Well, that’s a good thing.” 

Imperial Restaurant was a well-known restaurant in Strico. It mainly offered royal delicacies, and the prices were naturally high. Usually, people who would have the meal there were rich or noble. Ordinary people would not go there at all. 

The car arrived at Imperial Restaurant. After Jonathan and Rosalie got out of the car, Jonathan naturally held Rosalie’s hand again.
