Chapter 960
Half an hour later, the security guard on the side of the manor reported, “Mr. Youngblood, Mrs. Youngblood is leaving the
manor.”
Jonathan’s eyes flashed. He thought, “Is she going to leave here after all?” “Let the driver send her back to the Youngblood
residence.”
“Yes,” the security guard answered.
However, in the end, Jonathan was surprised that the driver responsible for driving Rosalie reported after returning, “Mrs. Youngblood didn’t go back to the Youngblood residence but went to stay at a hotel.”
Then, the driver reported the name and address of the hotel, as well as the room number Rosalie stayed in.
Jonathan frowned slightly, thinking, “Hotel? It doesn’t matter whether she stays in the Youngblood residence or a hotel. She can do as she pleases.”
At night, when Jonathan was lying on the huge bed, he suddenly felt that it was a little empty.
He slept on the bed alone at night before she went there. At that time, he didn’t seem to have such a feeling.
He wondered if he was feeling ill at ease following her sudden departure after she had spent the last few days clinging to
him.
The words filled with grievances and indignance she uttered in the study while tugging at his collar repeatedly surfaced in
his mind.
For a moment, he couldn’t tell what was true and what was fake.
The memory he had about the truth behind her fall into the sea back then was so real and convincing, yet she had firmly told her those things. In addition, Carlos had also mentioned those things to him. He wondered what exactly had happened.
He thought, “If what they said was true, what about my memories?”
Jonathan only felt that his mind was in a mess.
Meanwhile, Rosalie was lying in the room of the hotel with her mind in a similarly chaotic state.
She left the manor on impulse, but she couldn’t return to the Youngblood residence. After all, she told her children through video call that she had business to do and would not be going back in a few days. If she went there, she would be contradicting herself.
What was more, if the children were to ask her why their father didn’t return with her, she wouldn’t know how to answer.
Thinking of her gratifying behavior for the past few days and her rash behavior in the study that day, it could be said that her many days of hard work were all in vain.
Nevertheless, she realized how unbearable it felt to have someone she loved mistrusting her.
Rosalie smiled bitterly. She thought, “Did I bring this upon myself? If I hadn’t hurt and betrayed him because of Mrs. Smuckler, maybe he wouldn’t have distrusted me so much.”
She reckoned only by discovering what had happened to Jonathan’s memories could she win his trust again.

Rosalie planned to go back to the manor the next day, but her phone rang before she arrived. It was a call from Lillian’s mother, and she sounded anxious..
“Rosalie, did Lillian meet with you?” Abigail asked.

“No. What’s wrong?” Rosalie asked.
“Well, today I accompanied Lillian to go to the Women’s Health Hospital for a prenatal examination. On the way back, I went to the toilet, but I didn’t see Lillian when I exited the toilet. Lillian called me and said that she had met a friend who suddenly wanted to have dinner with her and asked me to go home first. But it had been five hours, and she didn’t come home. I couldn’t get through to her phone either,” Abigail explained.
Rosalie frowned, thinking that was indeed a little unusual.
“Did she say who was the friend she met?” Rosalie asked.
“She didn’t say anything.” Abigail said. “Rosalie, will Lillian be okay? She’s pregnant now and was discharged from the hospital just a short time ago.”
“I’ll figure out a way to contact Lillian. Don’t worry. I will call you later.” After talking with Abigail, Rosalie thought for a while and made a phone call to ask someone to get her the surveillance camera from the Women’s Health Hospital to see which friend Lillian had left with.
Although Jonathan was quarreling with her, he didn’t transfer the men who were originally assigned to her. Therefore, she could still send those people to help her in the name of Mrs. Youngblood.
If they contacted the police, a case of an ordinary adult going missing for less than 24 hours would not be entertained. Besides, Lillian also called Abigail to explain why she left.
The manpower Jonathan had assigned to Rosalie before was naturally not bad and very efficient. They gave her the result after merely half an hour.
The culprit was Madeline!
Looking at the video, Rosalie immediately recognized the woman who approached Lillian and talked to her!
Although the woman was wearing a hat and sunglasses, the surveillance camera wasn’t so clear, but it didn’t prevent Rosalie from recognizing her.
What surprised her was that Lillian got in the car with Madeline.
