It seemed there really wasn't anything he didn't know about her. This man was practically a mind reader.
Peeling off the wrapper, she took a small bite and mused, "Truly, things taste best when you're really craving them!"
Watching her happy expression, Everett's lips curved into a smile.
That once cautious and somewhat insecure girl now finally felt safe and secure enough to be herself.
He loved that Dorothy now freely expressed her wants and desires.
No matter how childish or outlandish her wishes, Everett was more than happy to fulfill them.

Why didn't Jeffrey call Everett from the office? Lock his door instruct security to not let anyone in and speak to Everett on the phone? Or send him a text giving him a quick summary of what's up and that he's on his way over. That way when he runs into Heather on his way out he informs her Everett already knows....
The children's stories are si boring. This book is like torture. I've put in so much time I have to see this through but it's becoming more difficult....
