Felicity didn't bother giving Miles another glance, nor did she hesitate anymore. She opened the door to her townhouse and went straight home.
From that day on, Miles truly vanished from her life. She wanted to feel relieved, but somehow, it didn't bring her the joy she expected.
Soon after, Calvin claimed he was coming back from abroad—and he actually did!
He landed in Eldorria City and called Felicity out of the blue.
"I'm in Eldorria City, kiddo! Come pick me up!"
Felicity had just gotten out of bed, still in her pajamas with her hair tied up in a messy bun, trying to sort through some emails for work.
"What?! Are you kidding me?"
"Do you really think I'd lie about this? Yes, I'm in Eldorria City!"
She sat up abruptly, confused. "Are you out of your mind? Why didn't you tell me you were transferring flights? I could have met you at the airport! I haven't even washed my face yet!"
Calvin's laughter boomed through the phone. "As if I haven't seen you without your makeup on? I couldn't bear to wake you up in the middle of the night just because I was transferring flights."
"Get lost, don't try to act all romantic with me! Save those pickup lines for someone else." Felicity quickly set her laptop aside. "Stay at the airport, I'm on my way."
"Take your time, drive safely. I want to see you in one piece."
"I'm going to sew your mouth shut one of these days!"
After hanging up, Felicity rushed back to her room to change into a simple white sundress.
Not for any particular reason, but because it was quick and easy to throw on without worrying about matching.
She grabbed her dad's car keys and headed out, passing Karen in the living room. "Hey? Felicity, where are you off to? Breakfast is ready!"
"Calvin's in Eldorria City. I'm going to pick him up."
"Calvin? The handsome guy with dimples?" Karen immediately perked up. "He's here to see you?"
"Yeah."
"Bring him home, bring him here!" Karen was visibly excited. "I want to see him in person!"
Felicity rolled her eyes. "He's not a celebrity, Karen. Calvin's waiting for me at the airport, I really have to go."

The readers' comments on the novel: The CEO's Hidden Love: Midnight Temptations and Deep Desires
Sometimes Karen can be such a drama queen and immature....
For some reason I am now feeling suspicious about Kevin's new girlfriend....
I really hope this Perdita person is not a new villain....
I too echoed the sentiments of pppplllleeeaaaassssseeeeee bring this drama to an end. I beg of you!...
Really please finish this book and upload the full story so it can end. It's been drugout for so long!...
The intimate scenes in this story or uncomfortable to read. They either come off as being forced, painful, or simply not enjoyable....
Okay I left a long while ago and came back. Looks like it's been updated but still not done lol. I'll maybe wait 6 months before coming back and it'll probably still be going on. It's like a soap opera instead of a novel...
Kenneth is confirming something I've been thinking about him for several hundred chapters ago and that is he is a future murder suicide perpetrator. And after reading chapter 1275 yeah it's just brought the thought back....
How could Jeffrey throw the knife down at the scene of the crime with both their fingerprints on there?...
Again no update, so is this where it ends? Or post the whole book. Your dragging this out...
