How could he ignore her pleas and continue to refuse?
"While Abigail is still willing to talk, I think you should have a proper conversation instead of playing the fool! You both missed the chance to communicate properly, and now you're facing the consequences. As a man, you need to own up to your mistakes and take responsibility," Dorothy Sanchez frowned. "Don't make me really lose respect for you."

As Craig walked into the Bay Residence, he kept his head down.
He listened carefully, but there was no sound of a baby's cries.
He figured... the baby must be asleep.
At the Lopez family home, Craig didn't worry for a second about his son's well-being. He only wished for Aurora Lopez to forgive him and dreamed of the three of them living happily together as a family.
He stood awkwardly at the door for a while. During that time, Miles Lopez came out, gave Craig a look, and was promptly called back by Felicity Lopez.
After about half an hour, Aurora finally stepped out, having changed her clothes.
"Let's talk in my room."
They couldn't discuss such matters in the living room, after all. Divorce was a private affair, and neither of them wanted to be the subject of gossip.
"Okay."
Craig nodded and followed Aurora.
Despite just having had a baby, from the back, she still looked like the same refined young woman he first met, unchanged in her elegance.
Before meeting Aurora, Craig had always thought girls from wealthy families were spoiled, unreasonable, and looked down on others.
Even Magnolia, whose family only ran a logistics company, spoke to them truck drivers with a sense of superiority. How much more so would the eldest daughter of the Lopez family be?
But Aurora was different.
She never looked at others through a tinted lens.
In Aurora's eyes, everyone deserved respect; she didn't see herself as superior to anyone.
"You..."
"Aurora, I don't want a divorce."
Fearing she might speak first, Craig quickly interjected.
Aurora lowered her gaze, staying silent for a long while before finally speaking.
"We can't keep going on like this."
"I was wrong. I truly know I messed up! I'll never do it again—"
Craig rarely admitted his mistakes so openly.
This time, he truly understood he shouldn't have done what he did.
"Craig, you didn't do anything wrong. The truth is, it's always been my fault."
