It was indeed true that since the blow-up, Everett's phone hadn't even buzzed with a single text from Dorothy.

"Wake up, Everett," Jeffrey said, "There's someone else better for you. Someone who actually cares about you."

"I left some clothes there."

"I can go get them for you."
