On the way home, Aurelia couldn’t help but mull over Evan. She had to use her connection with the big boss to prevent a bad scenario. 

As she entered the apartment, she immediately spotted the handsome figure. 

Leopold was sitting on the couch, going over his subordinates‘ reports. 

She first went to her room to change, then sat next to him, “My brother’s back. We had dinner together.” 

“I know.” He responded indifferently. Laura had already informed him. 

Aurelia got two glasses of milk, handing one to him. 

“It’s comforting to see how much Serenity Films values Avery. Did you know? The day after he returned to Elysium, he went for an audition that his classmate Evan had recommended. Initially, Avery was grateful, but he soon realized Evan had ulterior motives. He wasn’t trying to help him, but to make a mockery of him. He shamed Avery in front of everyone, ridiculing his lack of acting skills and even calling him weak. Isn’t someone like that just detestable?” 

Leopold took a sip of his milk, coldly replying, “Why bother with such a small–minded person?” 

“You also think he’s small–minded, huh.” Aurelia blinked, a sly twinkle flashing in her eyes, “I only found out tonight that this small–minded person is signed with Luminous Vision Media. His agent is even Luminous Vision Media’s ace agent, Louisa. Heard he’s a rich kid, his family must have spent a fortune, huh?” 

Leopold stiffened slightly. He rarely meddled with the affairs of Luminous Vision Media, leaving it to his deputies to manage. 

“Showbiz is full of intrigue, if Avery wants to make it, he needs to be prepared.” 

Aurelia pouted, was he trying to protect his staff? 

“After the audition, Avery was not only disheartened but also felt hopeless. Fortunately, Arno introduced him to Nydia, giving him a glimmer of hope and the strength to pick himself up. If not for him, Avery might have sunk into depression, unable to recover. He’s really grateful to Arno, treating him like a brother.”

Her words made him unpleasant! 

Thinking about Avery’s prickly attitude made him even more annoyed. 

Avery probably didn’t see Arnold as a friend, but as a brother–in–law, right? 

“Avery’s an adult now, he should learn to handle his issues, instead of having others worry over him.” 

Aurelia internally scoffed, he meant not protecting Avery? What a cold–hearted man. 

“And isn’t Evan just relying on his parents‘ money to get where he is? You once said, knowing how to use connections is a skill. So why when it comes to Avery, he has to handle his own issues? Isn’t this double standard?” 

Leopold’s mouth twitched, choked by this woman’s sharp tongue, it was rather annoyed. 

“Letting him gain experience in society, increasing his psychological endurance, can only be beneficial. If he really encounters an issue he can’t resolve, I’ll naturally help him.”
