Chapter 154
Avery has gone viral.
In this era of the visual appeal, it’s usually easy for good–looking actors to go famous. And when it comes to Avery, he’s the epitome of handsome, turning heads wherever he goes.
Aurelia was lounging on her couch, engrossed in scrolling through her Twitter feed.
She always knew her brother had the potential to be famous. His bright, heartthrob face had the power to swoon countless girls the moment he posed for the camera.
This week, Avery had been busy filming at a movie set and only returned home last night.
He had already requested his school to move out from the dormitory and was now residing in an apartment arranged by his agency.
Today, Aurelia was off from work. After breakfast, she went to Avery’s apartment and brought him some soup, to boost his health.
His assistant, Leah, had already arrived and prepared breakfast. She lived next door, which made it convenient for her to take care of Avery anytime.
Aurelia handed over the soup to Leah, instructing her to give it to Avery.
Avery sneaked up from behind and gave her a surprise bear hug.
Startled by his sudden action, she quickly pulled away, fearing that her little secret would be discovered. “Avery, ever since your TV show aired yesterday, you’ve gained two million fans overnight. You’re becoming a sensation. You need to act more mature now, and stop being childish.”
Avery’s facial expression turned serious. He rubbed his chin and gave her a thorough look, as if he was trying to figure out something.
Her heart skipped a beat. She instantly got nervous and instinctively pulled her coat closer, trying to hide her baby bump.
“What are you looking at?”
“Hey sis, you seem to have gained some weight. I just felt your tummy, it’s chubby. And your waist seems
thicker too.”
Aurelia gasped and playfully hit him on his head, trying to hide her guilty conscience. “I’ve just been eating a bit more lately, putting on some weight. Is it really that shocking? It’s good to gain some weight during winter, keeps me warm. I’ll lose it when summer comes.”
Leah chuckled from the side. “Aurelia, you’re not fat at all. I’d be over the moon if I had a figure like yours.”
Aurelia glanced at her and smiled. Leah was a bit chubby, her cheeks plump and rosy, giving her a doll–like appearance. Her big eyes were deep and mysterious, giving off an exotic vibe.
For some reason, Aurelia found Leah familiar, as if she had seen her somewhere before, but she couldn’t recall where.
“Who says girls must be skinny? It’s cuter to be a bit chubby.”
Leah grinned, revealing her white teeth. Though she was a bit overweight, she had no intention of dieting. She hated feeling hungry.
Avery sat down to have breakfast, as he had to go to school later.
“Hey sis, any plans for tomorrow?”
Aurelia got him a glass of milk. “Tomorrow’s our company team building event. We’re going to Greystone Hollow.”
He blinked playfully, a spark of mischief flickering in his eyes. “Can family members join?”
Aurelia was taken aback. “You want to come?”
He nodded, “I have the weekend off. I don’t have any shoots or shows scheduled.”
“Alright, I’ll get you a spot.”
Without giving it a second thought, Aurelia agreed. It had been a while since the siblings had gone out together.
The next day, Aurelia dressed in a sporty attire, paired with a loose casual jacket, looking radiant and full of
energy.
