Leopold ruffled his hair and said, “Your mom is my wife, not your dad’s. Your dad’s wife is 

Lisa.” 

William deflated like a popped balloon, his gaze dropping. 

“Dad promised he’d make Lisa leave.” 

“Even if he does make Lisa leave, I won’t let go of your mom. She’s my wife forever.” 

Leopold said seriously, not caring if he understood or not. 

William understood the gist that he didn’t want to give Mommy back. He pouted and tears started to fall. 

Aurelia quickly picked him up, soothing him with soft words.
