A devilish smirk crawled up the corner of Leopold’s mouth as he leisurely raised his auction paddle: fifty million. 

The crowd erupted in a flurry of astonished whispers. 

Aurelia couldn’t help but steal another look. Who was this tycoon? Was he genuinely interested in her designs, or did he have an ulterior motive? 

A fire sparked in Elvis‘ eyes. This had to be a deliberate challenge, right? He was determined to win this necklace.

Jenny chuckled, ‘Aurelia, if you outdo Ethereal Gems this time, do you think Mr. Cooper will be embarrassed?” 

Aurelia sailed faintly, “Mr. Cooper and I are friends in private life, but in business, we are competitors. If Ethereal Gems beats us, I’d be the one embarrassed.” 

Lily piped up, “Isn’t that why Mr. Cooper appreciates you, Aurelia? Your ability to outperform Ethereal Gems.” 

“Exactly.” The others chimed in agreement. 

Aurelia laughed, “Alright, enough joking around. Let’s get back to work. I’ll be out for the afternoon, so if anything comes up, Darcy is your point of contact.”
