Chapter 251 Not That Scary
Lysander looked at her. “Why haven’t you washed the blood off your hands yet?”
Daphne looked at her hands, somewhat embarrassed. “I was so worried that I couldn’t care about
everything else. Lysander, your last miscare already scared me to death. Priscilla’s situation this time was even more terrifying than yours. You have no idea how scared I was when I got to the hotel and saw her lying still on the bed, the sheets drenched bright red from blood. She didn’t react when I called her. When I touched her hand, it was as cold as ice! I—”
“Don’t worry. Her surgery is over now, she’s no longer in danger.”
“That’s good. That’s good. What about the baby?”
Speaking of the baby, Lysander shook her head.
Daphne didn’t quite understand. “The baby was aborted, right?”
“Yeah.”
“Is it a boy or a girl?” Daphne explained, “I didn’t mean anything by it. I just want to know the expression on Harry’s mother’s face if the child is a boy! Hasn’t she always wanted a great-grandson? She drugged her perfectly healthy great-grandson to death! Let’s see if she regrets it!”
A troubled expression crossed Lysander’s face.
Daphne asked, “Is the baby too small to determine the gender?”
“No, we can determine it.”
“So, is it a boy or a girl?”
Lysander was silent momentarily, crossed the room, shut the door, and locked it.
Daphne sensed something was off, her expression turned solemn. “What happened? No, wait, you’re a gynecologist, is it that hard to determine the baby’s gender?”
“It’s indeed difficult for me to determine it because… the baby exhibited characteristics of both genders.”
Daphne’s eyes widened. “What…What does that mean?”
“I’m merely speculating at this point, but the medicine Harry’s mother fed Priscilla contained androgens, which affected the growth of the fetus, leading to its unusually large size, and the development of certain male traits.”
Daphne loudly cursed, “Are they still even f*cking human? It’s a good thing that the baby wasn’t born. Wouldn’t their life be ruined if they were?”
Lysander was also sympathetic and sad for the child.
Fortunately, Priscilla didn’t insist on keeping the child. No one could imagine the kind of life she, a
1/3
woman in her twenties, would lead in the future.
Lysander glanced at the clock and noticed it was already half past one in the morning.
Today sure is thrilling.
Knock! Knock! Someone knocked on the door.
Daphne went to open it. “Adrian?”
“Hi.” Adrian walked in and informed Lysander,”
is awake, but we have a problem with her care

Update pls~...
Why no update ???...
Chapters 692 693 ans 694 are impossible to read. Not sure if there was an issue with translation.but the words do not make sense..impossible to follow story line...
I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
