Chapter 413 A Pair Of Sisters
The man must have had too much to drink, as he casually draped his arm over Michelle’s shoulder.
As he spoke, the strong scent of alcohol wafted through the air. “Are you new here?”
Michelie, who was just a young woman who had come of age, instantly turned pale. She abruptly pulled the hand off her shoulder, her words a bit of a jumbled mess in her panic. “Please show some respect!”
Seeing the situation, Lysander quickly pulled her sister behind her for protection.
The man licked his teeth, his interest piqued as he looked at Lysander. He sized her up from head to toe. “This one works too, or… both of you together?”
Michelle was both frustrated and anxious. She tugged at Lysander, ready to leave. “Let’s go, sis. Ignore him,” she said.
“Oh, so you guys are a pair of sisters after all.”
The man seemed intrigued, quickening his pace to catch up. He stretched out his hand, blocking their path. “Are you two really sisters, though? You two don’t look alike at all,” he remarked.
Michelle scoffed. “What’s it to you if one of us takes after our dad and the other our mom?”
“Sure, of course. I was just asking. Why are you upset? You clearly look young… Is this your first time?”
Seeing the man’s gaze gradually becoming lecherous, his words taking a turn for the worse, Lysander subtly furrowed her brows. She took Michelle’s hand, preparing to leave from the other side.
But the man was relentless and pursued her again. “Why are you running? Let’s negotiate the price.”
No sooner had the words been spoken than another person emerged from the main entrance. He seemed. to be friends with the drunkard. With a jovial tone, he asked, “Horace, what are you up to now?”
The man known as Horace spread his hands nonchalantly and said in a roguish manner, “We’re discussing the price. They’re real sisters.”
“Really? I haven’t heard about it. Let me check them out.”
Originally, Lysander thought that she could just quickly drag Michelle out of there, avoiding any further trouble with the drunkard.
But now, another one had arrived, cornering them from both sides. She and Michelle were under siege, and escape was starting to seem less and less likely.
Moreover, the one who arrived later was clearly more sober than Horace. It was clear he hadn’t drunk much.
A drunkard and a sober adult man were simply not on the same level when it came to physical strength.
She could manage a drunkard, but she genuinely couldn’t resist a physically strong, mature man.
Michelle grew more frightened, clutching at her sleeve. “Lysander, what do we do now?”

Chapter 413 A Pair Of Sisters
“No… I won’t come here anymore.”
With a sigh, Lysander pulled out her phone, ready to make a call.
Horace took a step forward, swiftly snatching her phone from her grasp. “Calling for help, are you?”
“The police, Lysander said.
Horace chuckled. “You’re working at Skywatch, and you want to call the police for this?”
“Of course we should call the police. We’re customers, here for the karaoke. If we encounter danger, it’s only natural to alert the authorities.”
“Customers? Both of you?”
“Yes.”
Horace scoffed. “Right.”
Lysander calmly said, “Give me back my phone.”
The man furrowed his brows in irritation. “Name your price already. It’s getting dark. Quit beating around the bush. I’m losing my patience, and I’ve got urgent matters to attend to.”
Saying so, he was about to take action.
Suddenly, Michelle called out into the distance, “Josiah-”
Josiah and his group should have also concluded their affair, as they were currently heading out.
There were probably more than twenty people, and they were essentially all men.
Zane and Aiden were also present. Apart from Zane, generally, everyone had a pretty lady in their arms.
Josiah also had someone by his side–the same lady with red lips and curly hair.
Josiah casually placed his hands in his pockets, a woman clinging onto his arm. Upon hearing the heart- wrenching cries of Michelle, they all turned to look.
Michelle seemed to have spotted her savior, and she waved her hands frantically, “Brother–in–law! Brother–in–law, help me!”
Horace asked, “Missy, who are you calling out to?”
Horace scoffed. “Enough, little sister, do you even know who he is before you go around claiming him ast your brother–in–law? That man is Mr. Josiah Guerra from Guerra Group. He’s not someone you can just casually claim as a relative.”
Another man bluntly said. “Do you really think Mr. Guerra would let his wife be exploited? Do you take me for a fool?”
Michelle was on the verge of tears. “He… he is…”
“Ah, so you’re saying, she… she was really with Josiah? Now that does pique my interest. To have won Josiah’s heart, and then to have her own affairs, this woman does have some abilities…”
Lysander shook her head. “I suspect these two had a bit too much to drink. They must have mistaken us for the ladies at the karaoke lounge. No worries. I’ve found my sister. We’re about to leave.”

Update pls~...
Why no update ???...
Chapters 692 693 ans 694 are impossible to read. Not sure if there was an issue with translation.but the words do not make sense..impossible to follow story line...
I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
