Recently, Lysander had been wholly engrossed in medical literature reviews, her thoughts showing signs of gradually returning to a path of pure rationality. She didn't give a thought to the significance of the time. Instead, she asked, “Doesn't that mean you won't be able to celebrate Christmas with Madam Susan?”
Subsequently, she cast her mind back to how it would affect her, adding following some contemplation, “The timing doesn't seem quite right. We can't just leave the elders alone at home for Christmas while we go out and enjoy ourselves. Then, there's Michelle. If we go on a vacation without bringing her along, she will surely give me an earful later.”
Josiah watched the peaceful scene unfold from the side, a moment so perfect that he would willingly wish for time to stand still forever.
“Don't worry. They won't be spending Christmas alone at home. I've arranged a vacation for my mom and Mdm. Laura, even giving them a few options for destinations. They chose to visit Saintnam, Machia, and Thymion. Michelle will also be going. If we were to stay, we would be all alone.”
He quietly handled many matters recently, so it wasn't surprising that he silently made vacation arrangements. Moreover, his planning was meticulous.
After some thought, Lysander agreed. However, she was somewhat worried about Laura.
“My mom has never been abroad and doesn't know foreign languages. With Michelle and Madam Susan accompanying her this time, there won't be any communication issues. But...”
She seemed lost in thought, contemplating persuading Josiah to change their destination, suggesting they all go to Saintnam, Machia, and Thymion together. However, before she could voice her thoughts, he preempted her, saying, “Actually, Mr. Howard and Mdm. Molly will also be tagging along. They can look after each other.”
With Howard joining them, there really wasn't much to worry about this time.
Before setting off, Lysander meticulously packed their luggage. After much hesitation, she sent a message to Nieva, informing her of their upcoming destination, on the off chance that she returned to find them gone after she was done with her errands and wanted to pick Aurora up.
Yet, just like the videos and photos of Aurora she sent previously, that message received no reply, not even a read receipt.
Nieva seemed to have disappeared from the face of the earth, with no news on her anywhere. If it weren't for the occasional Lionhart family's marital issues on the economic news and restructuring of the company, Lysander would have been too anxious to resist prying into the matter herself.
Perhaps it's because she wants to keep Aurora's whereabouts completely hidden from Elio.
Lysander exhaled and double-checked Aurora's necessities. For their vacation, they prepared five suitcases in total, three large and two small. The large suitcases were filled entirely with baby products.
Josiah insisted that his injuries had healed, adamant about doing everything himself. Lysander couldn't persuade him otherwise, so she could only watch as he wheeled the luggage for check-in, then loaded it into the car after they had landed.
This time, they went to an unfamiliar city. Guerra Group's local branch office was only getting off the ground, so the project manager initially thought there was some issue upon hearing that the CEO was visiting. He apprehensively hurried over in person after receiving news of it. However, he was of no help.
The project manager watched apprehensively as Josiah personally loaded the luggage. He asked repeatedly, “Mr. Guerra, is there really nothing else you need? Perhaps making a site visit or something?”
Josiah remained as calm as ever. “No. I just came over for leisure. Last year's performance was pretty good, so keep up the good work.”
The more the project manager observed the man's pure noncommittal attitude, the more uneasy he felt deep down.
As per the saying, lock onto the most relevant person when dealing with a particular issue.
So, he shifted his attention to Lysander, who looked far more approachable.
“Mrs. Guerra, the hotel arrangements have been made. A car along and a driver will also be at the service of Mr. Guerra and you around the clock. Would you like me to arrange for a local guide as well? My assistant is a local and is quite competent at his job. He would certainly make a good tour guide.”
He had established quite a reputation for himself at the branch office, but he was caught off guard by the impromptu honeymoon plan by Josiah.
Lysander knew he was reading too much into things and tried to reassure him, saying, “No, it's really fine. The primary reason we came this time was just to have a vacation. It's enough that you're aware of our arrival. There's no need to tell anyone else for now.”
No, you don't understand.
How is this different from using one misunderstanding to cover up another?

Update pls~...
Why no update ???...
Chapters 692 693 ans 694 are impossible to read. Not sure if there was an issue with translation.but the words do not make sense..impossible to follow story line...
I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
