Only then did Noelle react. “Wait! You’ve been off work for so long, but I haven’t cooked!”
She suddenly realized it and had a guilty look on her face. “Why didn’t you remind me earlier? You’ve been busy all day, and I was at home doing nothing. You don’t even get to come home to a hot meal!”
“Silly girl.” Charles touched Noelle’s face and pinched her cheek. “It’s alright. Change your clothes, and I’ll take you out for dinner. We can also pick out a gift for Grandpa.”
“Okay!” Noelle grabbed Charles’s hand, stood on her tiptoes, and kissed the corner of his lips. “Then you change your clothes too. We’ll head out!”
Charles‘ eyes twinkled with amusement as he touched his lips and followed Noelle
into the walk–in closet.
Visiting Sebastian was indeed a bit of a hassle. It was not that Charles was afraid of anything, but the timing was a bit early. However, it was not a big deal.
He never intended to keep their marriage a secret from everyone. Noelle had her reasons for wanting to keep it quiet initially, and he did not want to force her.
”
He watched Noelle’s back and smiled as she held up two outfits in front of him. Charles, do you think this one looks better or this one?” Noelle asked with a smile. Which one should I wear?”
“They both look good!” Charles‘ eyes sparkled with amusement, but Noelle was not satisfied and gave him a playful glare. “I can only wear one!”
“Then wear this one.” Charles pointed casually to one outfit. “Wear this one for dinner tonight and the other one tomorrow when we visit Grandpa.”
After changing, Noelle spun in front of the mirror, adjusting the tags. She noticed Charles had also changed his clothes. “Charles, is Saint Di your own brand?”
