When feelings were bottled up for too long, their release could be overwhelming. The one who sought found complete satisfaction, while the one who was sought endured an indescribable struggle.
All through the night, Charles was there, soothing Noelle. Her sleepy mumblings only made him more determined not to let her go until she was completely worn out. Finally, he carried her to the bathroom for a relaxing bath.
There in the tub, Noelle leaned back, her eyes too heavy to keep open. However, Charles's hands, warm and teasing, moved across her back, stirring a fire within her. Noelle's eyes snapped open, and she caught his wandering hands. "Please, no more. I really can't continue."
With a laugh in his eyes, Charles could not resist squeezing Noelle's cheeks. "Noelle, you really need to work on your stamina!"
Noelle's eyes popped wide open, her confused face suddenly in Charles's view. She could not believe it when she saw Charles's eyes twinkling with laughter. His smile was so bright it was almost blinding. She put her hand up to shield her eyes, blocking his view. "It's not that I'm weak. You're just super strong!"
Noelle's cheeks turned pink. "I... Rowena said this is supposed to be fun, but it seems like you're the one having all the fun, and I'm just getting tired."
Hearing that, Charles gently moved Noelle's hand away from his face, raised an eyebrow, and asked, "Oh? Didn't you have fun too?" He looked at her so earnestly that Noelle felt a little guilty and shy, and she quickly looked away.
Charles gave a small smile, took Noelle's hand, and kissed it softly. "Go ahead and lie down. I'll help you clean up!" Noelle did as she was told, lying down with her hands on the edge of the tub and her chin resting on her arms.
