The Cherished Wife (Noelle and Charles) novel Chapter 433

As Noelle thought about it, she pondered for a moment. "What was Winter doing at your garden house?"

Teresa replied, "What else? She just met up with a few people from her old clique. It seems they're planning a birthday party and will be inviting old classmates.

"Since she's busy with filming and can't handle everything herself, she's getting some friends to help organize it. Don't you think she's getting a bit carried away?"

Noelle smirked. "Probably." Only Noelle knew that Winter had always been like this.

This time, Winter likely wanted to throw a big party for another reason. It was because she had married Xavier.

Noelle could almost picture Winter inviting her just to take the opportunity to humiliate her as she would not miss such a chance.

Noelle was engrossed in chatting with Rowena and Teresa. As she turned over in bed, she noticed Charles sitting at the foot of the bed, though she was not sure when he had gotten there.

His legs were casually positioned, with one hand resting on his knee while the other leaned on the edge of the bed. He looked at Noelle with amused interest.

Noelle blinked. "Are you done?" She quickly put away her phone and crawled over to his side. "Do you want me to run a bath for you?"

She was about to get out of bed when Charles caught her hand, his gaze darkening slightly as he replied in a low, husky voice, "No need."

Noelle's heart fluttered as she sensed what was coming. Just as she opened her mouth to speak, Charles grasped her hand firmly and pressed her beneath him. "Nelly," he murmured.

His voice was dangerously seductive, almost lethal to Noelle. Before meeting Charles, she never knew a man could be so irresistibly alluring, making even a woman feel inadequate.

She also never realized she had such a vulnerable, unspeakable side hidden deep within her. She was utterly captivated by Charles' tender gaze and was unable to resist.
