Everyone's eyes were fixed on Noelle, sharing the same disbelief. It seemed as though they had all assumed that the person in the room was Noelle, so seeing her standing in front of them left them stunned.
Noticing their reactions, Noelle looked around curiously. "Why wouldn't I be here? Wasn't it Annie who brought me here to rest?" she asked, turning to Annie.
Annie quickly snapped out of her daze. "Yes, I did bring you here to rest, but you..."
"This is impossible, Noelle. Aren't you supposed to be in that room? That room..." Winter's mind was in complete chaos. She could not figure out where things had gone wrong.
Annie had confirmed that Noelle was in the room, and Suzy had supposedly led Simon in as well. What was going on?
"Why is it impossible? I was in the room resting, but I started feeling unwell from drinking too much, so I went to the restroom," Noelle explained.
She then looked around the crowd, asking, "Why are you all gathered here? What are you doing?"
Winter's face turned deathly pale. "Noelle, it's just that... It's my birthday, and it's time to cut the cake, so... Xavier and I came to get you."
Winter took a deep breath and clenched her hands tightly, feeling the sting of defeat. "Since you're here, let's go now."
"You came to get me? With this many people?" Noelle chuckled. "I must be... quite important, even more so than the birthday girl herself!"
Smiling, she added, "But what were you all doing here before I arrived?"
"N-Nothing!"
Just as Winter stammered her response, the sounds of passion between a man and a woman echoed from the room again.
A dark glint flashed in Noelle's eyes. "Who's in that room?"
