"Alright, but Charlie..." Noelle started.

"Peter and Sean are already on their way. Can you relax now?" Steven reassured her.

Noelle nodded. "Okay, I'll go back with you first."

After Steven and Noelle left, another team quickly arrived, efficiently clearing Wenford Road. The two bodies were also taken away for processing.

Meanwhile, Charles drove all the way to the outskirts before stopping in front of an abandoned factory.

He turned off the engine and rolled down the window, his slender fingers holding an unlit cigarette. He played with a lighter, flicking it on and off. He watched as two men and a woman stepped out of their vehicle.

They were armed and slowly advancing toward him.

Charles squinted, still fiddling with his lighter. Only when the leader got closer did Charles swiftly open the car door and jump out.

The three assassins barely registered Charles' movements. As they tried to react, Charles tossed the lighter toward them.

In one swift move, Charles kicked the leader. Then, as the lighter soared overhead, a gunshot rang out. The bullet pierced the lighter, triggering a loud explosion.

The leader was caught in the blast, his face covered in soot and debris as he struggled to get up.

His two subordinates were also injured, though not as severely.

"Boss, are you alright?" The female assassin rushed to help him. "Boss!"

"Charles Hoffman, you’re dead meat!" The leader shoved the woman aside and quickly grabbed a gun to start firing at Charles' position.
